Iran Crisis & the 2026 War between Iran and the United States, Gulf States, and Israel - Please focus on news and coverage, not argumentation.

"muh colour revolution"
"muh ZOG"
3rd worlder brain can not comprehend people fighting for themselves. Every revolution is DA JOOS, every movement for freedom is CIA. Its because they are slaves and would never fight for what they believe, which is funny because they believe nothing except whatever is opposite of israel+west

Naturally. It's another attempt at color-revolution.
You'd have to be a particularly stupid goy to fall for the same playbook, over and over, yet here we go again.

Just like the mobile bioweapon laboratories, and Iraq somehow being behind 9/11, and the Nigerian Uranium. The yellowcake is a lie. Always has been.
When you're so based that you simp for the Islamic state that refers to the United States as the great Satan and that facilitates drug smuggling into the US through Hezbollah.

Ideologically raped.

A few quick notes on Iran:

1. Not too impressed by reports of "the US needs more time." The US has exceptional capabilities. Everything is subject to the President's decision.

2. Reports of mass shootings of protesters by Iranian suppression forces are not a good sign for the revolution. What we *want* to hear is refusals by security forces and their joining in. Weakness is a fundamental and necessary matter.

3. In this context, interesting reports of assassinations of Revolutionary Guards/police figures by the protest. Eliminating command levels in Iran worked well for Israel in the war. Although that was systematic.

4. Revolutions don't happen because the people are in the streets, but because revolutionaries know how to take the power in the streets and convert it into governance. That's not me who wrote it—it's Hannah Arendt. Who are the revolutionaries?

5. It's worth paying attention to the relatively central role of Prince Pahlavi. In '79, the revolutionaries (many of them liberals, socialists) sought a figure who could draw the public, a symbol of everything the Shah was not—modest, religious, traditional. Khomeini, the exile in Paris, was for some of them a kind of symbolic father figure like that. It turned out he was an immodest, non-traditional dictator. But the point is filling the vacuum. In '79 as well as in 2026, there's no father figure for the liberal opposition. No Mandela and no Havel. Into that vacuum comes Pahlavi, with strong monarchist support. From my personal experience, a family that supported Pahlavi in '79—the grandchildren also support him. Do they want absolute monarchy? No.

5. As experts on Iran like
@yashar

@RZimmt

and others have noted, this regime is cushioned and cushions broad layers in Iranian society. The desire for it to collapse like a house of cards is understandable. But even in '79 it took a long time to shape up. And as things become more lethal, regime loyalists may fear for their lives and their families' lives—and those are hundreds of thousands if not more. That could increase determination.

6. The test is a triangle: a combination of masses in the streets, cracking of the regime's and its suppressors' determination to shoot protesters, and exceptional organizational ability to take over the government itself. The last element requires organization and a plan. The tremendous courage of the Iranians is an inspiration to all who cherish liberty. It's not enough on its own.

It's sort of been mentioned- but all these posts in this thread talking about how Iran will turn into western style degeneracy or this is bad because zog or interventionism or whatever.

It should be clear that Iran only changed into this religious government in 1979 during the Carter administration.

This is only 46 years ago, which in the context of history/countries/whatever really is not that long of a time ago.
For context - US troops left Vietnam in 1973 (war technically ended in 1975 but 73 is the important date).

Sort of what I mean by this- there are many people alive today who remember Iran when it was not religiously fundamental.

Consider this - Mcdonalds is older than the religious regime in Iran (much older- even if using the buyout by the Kroc family as the start of McDonalds - this was 1961). In fact, Iran used to have McDonalds franchises before the Ayatollahs took over (and KFC too).

So I think this is important context when people are saying 'oh iran is going to turn into the west or be whores or whatever this is so zogpilled'.

The muzzie revolution in Iran wasn't some ancient shit that happened forever ago. It was a modern happening.

Lets take the assumption that "THE JEWS" are behind this as complete fact.

If Canada stated "If we ever get a Nuclear weapon the first thing we are going to do is Nuke New York" what would America do?

The uk fucked itself

pakijeet inbred or the end stage of the autistic hyperfixation on da jooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooz?
Why not both?

On the "the usa needs more time". I think the United States literally needs more time to get the assets in place. It's one thing to bomb a Target that everyone already knows exists. It's another thing when you have to do multiple strikes and civilian infrastructure.

But the overthrow of this regime is the crown Jewel in Trump's plan. You know he will ensure he will not repeat the same "mistakes" Obama and biden did.

I can appreciate the fact that many Persians have legitimate grievances with the regime. Fair enough.
But I'm also capable of seeing blatant propaganda for what it is.
As I said, you pretty much have to be willfully ignorant or grotesquely stupid to believe there was no outside prompting to this, after seeing the same pattern play out several times in recent history.

Le't's be honest here, the best case scenario is that the govt in Iran changes, and on the way out they nuke all the major cities in Israel.
Win win.

A photo from the Kahrizak Forensic Medical Center in southern Tehran shows their database of photos of Iranians killed in protests, with 250 images visible, indicating at least 250 bodies at that location alone.

they never got to a working weapon and since trump blew up their facilities a couple months ago they're not gonna get there any time soon either
it's not gonna happen

Graham on Fox on Iran: don't want a military invasion of Iran. I don't want any boots on the ground. But President Trump has chosen wisely to be with the protesters. He's the first president since 1979 to pick the people over the Ayatollah. President Trump says if you continue to kill your people, all hell will break out, all hell to pay. That's as strong as when Reagan said Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall.President Trump is not Obama. He picked the people over the Ayatollah. Here's what's going to happen. We've got to make action, match the words. I'm looking for action, not an invasion. That will do three things. Three things. Be a game changer. The people will be emboldened. The ayatollah will be deterred. If we don't create deterrence after whatever action we take. We made a mistake. If the protesters are not stronger after the action we take, we've made a mistake. So we're in a spot now. This is the biggest deal since the fall of the Berlin Wall. Regime change is what we're talking about.

The maddening part is that the same people who like to harp about Hyperborea and duties to god are the ones who can't fathom why other people will risk their lives to make their country better and safe for the future.

Let's say they do bring down the Iranian government, which I think would be great. This is a serious and not shitposting question: What indications do we have that what comes after wouldn't be horrible? I say that as someone who got really excited for Arab Spring and was appalled at what some call the Arab Winter when Islamists retrenched. I'm asking because amidst all the shitposting I rely on the Farms for some of the best and most informed analyses on current events I see anywhere, and I appreciate it.

@RodgerDodger covers it very well.
Firstly, its almost impossible for the situation to get worse. They are already a fundie-run hellhole. The worst that would happen is even more fundie fundies take over, but that's not a far trip from where they are. But this unlikely as Fundie rule is large part of what they're protesting.

Second, as @A Cardboard Box points out, unlike post-Shah Iran there is a figure for people to rally and unite around that isn't a Cleric and can agree on things that aren't just "We need to return to 600AD and Muhammed".

There is actual, real reasons to hope this will result in a non-retarded Iran rising from the ashes. But there's also significant possibility it ends up more or less as you describe with just a different group of retarded pedoworshippers in charge.

This revolution has the US pretty flatfooted and situation is more than a dozen tomahawks or Recon Marine platoon can handle, I don't think anyone saw this blowing up this bad. This means significant resources need to be shifted.
The US is currently distracted in Venezuela and to reallign resources from that effort the protesters/revolutionaries need to demonstrate they worth the support.

Add to this, to recycle a stale joke from the Cold War and GWOT, at this point the US Generals are still tryng to figure out who to bomb.
If the Shah live streamed himself and a battalion of Blackwater and Executive Decisions guys paradropping into Tehran, the US would have bombs impacting before he made it to the ground. It would be very expensive, it would put US forces at risk, but the US could do it, would be able to do it, and would do it because they'd know who they are supporting.
Right now, its a bunch of loosely organized protests. They might, as @LateNightMuffin speculates, end up coalescing around leaders even more retarded and violent than the current regime. The US just doesn't know who to bomb; even if the US started bombing the regular IA, they need to know what units are loyal to the regime, which ones are sitting on the fence, and which ones have or might turn to the revolution - you don't want to JDAM a general who might be thinking about switching sides.

There is also legality/justification issues. The US and Israel bombed, specifically, sanctioned nuclear sites, IRCG facilities, ballistic missile infrastructure, and air defense sites that might endanger their bombing missions. They didn't just put 2000-lb bombs into the regular army HQ, they didn't Operation Praying Mantis their navy - though they could have.
The reason is its very easy to explain "We blew up the nuke facilities because they weren't allowing inspectors in, we blew up the IRGC because they have been working with our enemies who attacked us, they have been launching missiles on Israel, and we needed to ensure our planes were safe". Going in right now unbidden to just drop bombs and hope the revolution works out is a much harder sell.
Now if this was 4 months ago when the USS HST was in the area already stomping the Houthis, maybe different story.

The US also knows that any stray bomb is going to look bad and deligitimize the protests, or at least pro-western leaders of protester factions.

or:
tl;dr: The US would mobilize faster to defend allies. But the US doesn't know who those allies are how much air support they're going to need. They don't want another Syria where its just trying to fine the Islamists less likely to genocide minorities.

Naturally. It's another attempt at color-revolution.
Every time another Russian ally falls, its always a color revolution for some reason.
Post hands, fren.

"muh colour revolution"
"muh ZOG"
Always pro-Russian Vatnigger posters that never post hands. Its very curious.

And only when its yet another Russian ally imploding.

What can be better about Iran ?

It is like cat's litterbox. You take poop out and another deuce drops.
If you take shits out of this country, others from other places will flow in.
If you bomb this country shit will fly everywhere.

Protests in Tehran tonight. The crowd looks pretty large.
