This is misleading, the chart is shows the official exchange rate, no normal people was getting the 42,000 Rial:USD exchange rate, my Iranian friend said that's called the "Government Dollar" as only people connected to the government gets that rate, and only when paying for imports, the only reason it updated was because the Government announced a week ago they were no longer honoring that exchange rate, so what you see now is what the government says the real exchange rate is if you bring USD into Iran, but you're not getting anywhere close to it back when you leave.

The actual current exchange rate is 1.45 Million Rial:USD

Note because the currency is so worthless most Iranian facing websites use Tomans (1 Toman = 10 Rial) to cut a zero to make it easier to list prices.

My sources, which include Q Anon, tell me not to trust random YouTubers. All I'm seeing on Telegram are large protests in almost every major city, no real fighting. It's almost sunrise in Tehran so the protests will be calming down. If they continue into the day then this shit is getting serious.

1. The Iranian economy is beyond fucked this time and they're not able to sell enough oil to fix it because they've been pumping every extra Rial they've got into their missile and nuke programs.
2. Tehran is literally running out of water. If the mountains don't get enough snow this winter then by June there is a serious chance of Tehran having to be evacuated.
3. Trump isn't fucking around and has already bombed them. Israel made them look like a bitch, too. No one takes them seriously.
