I think the difference is that WPIG/TBS' community is relatively healthy. Yeah, there are some people in there that need to get a life (cough BITWawesome...you need help), but for the most part it seems to be people having fun. Full disclosure, I was actually going to send ALT a Sikorsky hat for his collection but someone beat me to it.

WPIG has 2 deep dives on it but it's pretty clear that Kat is/was the driving force behind it.

I will still argue that Phil started shifting to this proper schoolmarm after Leanna was likely straying on him in ~2016.

But, either way, Kat definitely played her role in this since she caused a ruckus cheating on Subaruman.

I think the tips counter is gone for good. It's symbolism that we've moved on from the KC to the Asmongold era, and I think he's wanted to undo the previous change to counting all forms of contribution for some time. He knows by now that the usual whales will get him to the goal "behind duh scenes" if need be. Begging to return to normal and increase over time, Phil can't help himself there, but he can point to removing the goals as proof he's "changed". And it gives Phil more opportunity to add more slimy wannabe-lawyer speak in his repertoire.
