2025 US and Venezuela Conflict - Operation Just Cause 2: 2 Just 2 Cause

I’ve just realized that this entire operation is a giant gamble, the succes of which depends almost entirely on a new Venezuelan regime that subsequently submits to the demands of the US.

If they actively resist, then I don’t see a way to really win. He says they will send soldiers on the ground, sure and they can definitely defeat the Venezuelan military, but not without losses. Are they going to invade and occupy tiny zones around the nation’s oil fields and governmental buildings? Are they going to accept the losses and costs of a constant guerrilla war and maintain and active occupation?

Seems like the costs could easily be on the level of another forever war reminiscent of what happened in the Middle East.

In addition the Chinese and Russians have significant Influence and investments in Venezuela. Both of them are currently looking to gobble up land, so I think they’d be more than happy to finance and support Venezuelan insurgents and make any oil venture or regime influence extremely difficult.

In short if they bow Trump has made an extremely cost effective foreign policy decision. If they do not however, then this could bog down US resources for a significant period with the results not being entirely different than what happened to Afghanistan. Let’s see where the dice lands.
The US has levers it can pull short of an outright invasion and occupation to get Venezuela to do what it wants. Trumps goal is not to necessarily "replace" Venezuelas elites it seems. Its making them do what he wants. There is a carrot on the stick. If they go along with things the oil will flow and money will start being made again and all those regime chavistas will get to keep their hacienda.

The stick is of course continuing to be champagne socialists and fighting the good fight against the Yankee imperialists. No hacienda at the end of that road. Trump is increadibly transactional, and its possible (:optimistic:) that the idiots left behind now that Maduro has been churroed will realize doing what Trump wants will result in a better outcome for them.

At the end of the day I dont think anyone in Venezuelas government (beyond a few retards who are kept around as mascots by the others) actually give one shit about the Bolivarian revolution. They will support whatever policy let's them keep their shit.

When is the roman triumph? Who's getting an arch?

Trump just pulled one of those levers. He can pull it again. He can pull the 'fuck capturing them, vaporize them' lever. He can pull the 'seize tanker' lever many more times. The multitude of glownigger levers will keep getting pulled. He showed last night that the Venezuelan government is already compromised to the highest levels by our glowniggers. He has all the levers, the Chavistas have none except refusing to get with the program. Until that becomes untenable

It depends on how much they like communism vs their cushy lifestyle. We can repeat this. Their air defenses are fucking gone. We can keep plucking them out of their strongholds like weeds in a garden until they break. Fascinating really.

Ew now I see why everyone hates new people

We both made our accounts on the same day where are your posts about lolcows??
The ones I follow don’t have any new content to post about rn. However I don’t see how that’s relevant to this current thread. I can also see that you’ve posted on my profile, so I think a quick sperg block is the right move here. I will no longer engage with you in order to avoid derailment here.

This reads exactly the same (even the same language about not making America safer, stronger, etc.) as Bernie Sanders's statement, which means two things:
1. There's central messaging they're all parroting
2. Bernie Sanders is still a cuck who took your money for the DNC and will never give you a refund.

Going by what GreaterHacaryguaspear says here,
I was a little Looting. Today all Caracas are taked by chavista Paramilitaries, so it's imposible get some food because all bussiness are closed due the attack. My friends and family in other states said it's was equal: Chavista paramilitaries (colectivos) took streets with National Guard and some Armed Forces soldiers.
we can't call a complete victory yet until the Chavistas no longer rule the streets. If the political opposition in Venezuela fails to take full advantage then we'll just end up right back where we started. If the Venezuelans with the arms to fight back still lack the will or leadership then I don't see things getting better there.

Última edición:
i think people are getting venezuelans mixed up with like african favellas, a majority of venezuelans are just fat retarded gooners like a first world country, they just drive around on faggios and will be content as long as they get to go home and jerk off to onlyfans, they are not going to start doing guerilla ops and shit and are more than happy to be a puppet state for the U.S than a random dictator.
You'd have just as much luck asking a blue haired obese redditor to go blow up a oil drill.

>See funny memes on Instagram about the snatch & grab
>Faggots saying this is all a Israeli psyop.

Can people stop schizoposting about the Jews, FOR FIVE MINUTES!?!?!

There is not a venezuelan opposition. Everybody are chavistas (red chavistas and blue chavistas)

Right now Delcy Rodriguez is the president, the Maduro VP, and Trump said MCM and Edmundo are not going to the transition because they are weak. But Trump knew both in 2019 when MCM and Edmundo was part of a corrupt opposition alliance led by Juan Guaido.

We venezuelans are fucked!

Venezuela isn't Vietnam/Iraq/Afghanistan. They aren't getting help from Russia since they're busy fighting in Ukraine and China has zero force projection so they won't be resupplied like jihadists in Iraq and Afghanistan. Most people in the country hate the Chavistas so there's little popular support unlike in Vietnam or the Middle East. Yes, we can occupy the oil fields and the population centers because outside of those areas are villages in the middle of the jungle with poor transportation infrastructure. If the government doesn't bend the knee to Trump then they'll experience the full power of the US military and I doubt most of the Venezuelan military would want to fight after all of their military assets are smoking rubble after a couple of nights of bombings. Read up on Operation Just Cause back in 89/90 and you'll see what Trump is planning.
