Appreciate how his viewers, dents and detractors alike, were telling him to play ArcRaiders because it was the hot new thing, and repeatedly told him to get a monitor, to have background music, etc. and Phil always told them no, that it won't work for him, that his life and set up are unique and better, that he hates that style of game, that video games are meant to be played on a tv, not a computer monitor, etc, etc. but post Asmon he does all the things he said he wouldn't and didn't want to, because the Asmondents, or who he thought were Asmondents, suggested it as a way to get more viewers.

Absolutely relatable. I see Phil's behavior and it is so uncannily familiar just from knowing people like that. He's so easy and fun to hate but it's also reassuring that narcissism is so predictable that you can make a bingo card out of someone's retardation.

While his weird schedule antics and mannerisms could point to it, besides the neuroticism from being isolated from so long and narcissistic wounds, Phil could religiously follow those "how to be a successful youtuber" videos and cargo cult his lessons from the business degree while barely understanding anything.
