Despite all the attention bleeding-edge processes get, the chips that go into embedded devices of all kinds, especially those that live in factories or outdoors, tend to be on much less sensitive processes. Texas Instruments makes over 50 billion chips per year.

We stopped building or maintaining facilities capable of producing microchips and microprocessors probably 15+ years ago at this point.

Yes we absolutely could produce them here but rebuilding the necessary infrastructure would take years and be freakishly expensive.

I ain't tryna flex or dox myself but I can speak from first hand experience how many people at the top think AI is going to replace everyone and everything. They think these problems will be solved this way, like legit for real.

It's like otherwise intelligent people just turn off their brain and say "AI" to any of these issues, even if the issue is physical. Again from personal experience they also seem to not understand the limits AI has or its real capabilities (of which it does have some).

That turkey was for damn sure shot in this country. The shucky beans were grown in this country. the sweet potatoes came from north Carolina. The mashed potatoes were made from potatoes grown locally. I did splurge and buy Italian pasta.
 
I didn’t realize how cheap gas is now. Roughly 2.25 near me. Weird thing is that it’s actually more expensive where my parents live, it’s usually 30c cheaper than what I get. Gas buddy says some stations in Columbus are at $2.03 which is great.

Anyway we need to invade Venezuela and gas will finally drop below $2 again.

Also eggs are $1.85 now where I’m at lol

Texas Instruments produces billions of chips every year in the USA. Intel produced between 400 million and 1 billion chips in the USA last year. Global Foundries produces between 160 million and 400 million chips in the USA. (based on 400-1000 chips per wafer).

Turkey, Pork, Chicken.
Veggies:
Tomatoes, Onion, Cabbage, Lime, Radishes, Corn, Potatoes

That's the main ingredient list of what my meals consisted of.

The only way I can see you arguing that my food is imported from overseas is by confusing Chink nigger demand being met by their surrounding countries or Brazil. The only main stay I buy that's imported are bananas. My covfefe is from Hawaii.
If my produce isn't from the local farmers it's mainly from California, Georgia, or Flo-Rida. Chicken and Pork are local. Turkyiyvs are seasonal and obviously brought in from the other side of the country.
