I always liked to imagine that the Whos never even realized all the presents were missing in the original version. They were all in such a rush to run outside and sing that damn earworm of a song that it wasn't until the Grinch came back with all the presents that they even noticed (assuming Cindy Lou didn't just think it was Santa back with the repaired tree lol)

I swear this administration talks such a big game about laying down the law and FAFO and then proceeds to do literally nothing and then forget about the whole thing in a week. If this were Republicans doing this to Democrats under a Democrat administration they'd all be in jail for life or dead at this point.

Hey, fuckwit, did you know investigations and prosecutions take time? If you want to actually convict a criminal, you have to do a lot of due diligence, because you have to prove BEYOND THE SHADOW OF A DOUBT that they are guilty in order to get a conviction.

Would you prefer they rush investigations and try to convict these people on little or no evidence, resulting in the perps getting away scot free because of the Double Jeopardy protections in the American system?

TBF, it got a whole lot harder to book Kilmer, unless you can get the Witch of Endor into the recording booth. That would probably be against the spirit of the production, though.
