Now presents are attributed to some fat fuck at the North Pole and his reindeer, people care more about frosty the snowman then our Lord and savior born in a manger.
The Jewish subversion and slow killing of the spirit of Christmas is actually quite impressive when you think about it.
Fucking Christ killing pieces of trash.
To be fair, that tradition has roots in St. Nicholas sneaking into a poor man's house and leaving him gold coins so his daughters could afford to marry instead of having to prostitute themselves. Shockingly enough, most Christmas traditions that have developed over the last two millennia are actually rooted in Christian traditions and the Pagan ones around it were often responses to them.

Agree with you on the music though, not a damn modern thing comes close to some of the traditional hymns. One of my churches growing up, for Candlelight service, would have one of the deeper voiced choir members come in to light the candles while singing "O come, O come Emmanuel," acapella. Nothing like it.

Even more recent Christian hymns like Mary, Did You Know? blow the jewish secular songs out of the water, and that song can't even get it's chronology right!

I don't care for Jim Carrey nowadays, but I will gleefully state that Eternal Sunshine is the best damn movie he ever starred in. Why? He ain't playing up the role of an eccentric weirdo. Also, Eternal Sunshine just *feels* like a Christmas romantic drama from yesteryear. Now if you excuse me, I need to lie down on the ice in Montauk.

TikTok is, for Republicans, a doomer-esque deluge of negative content
Frankly Tiktok for leftoids and left leaning normies isn't that much better either, there's just usually more fluff in their algorithms. There it's an almost endless deluge of THE PLANET IS DYING and CAPITALISM AND REPUBLICANS ARE GOING TO RAPE AND KILL YOU PERSONALLY.

On the topic of Christmas subversion, anyone else been seeing ads for that animated movie David coming out tomorrow? Picking Christmas to release a movie all about David and Goliath instead of Christ Himself raises some red flags for me, obviously it's the best day to do it financially, but cynically they knew exactly what they were doing by not releasing it a few days earlier or later

The U.S has seen it's largest year end drop in murder rate. On top of all the other decreases in crime

My black ass (white on the arrest report).

Crime data is systematically falsified. I wouldn't believe any numbers from any law enforcement agency anywhere in the world—during this century, at least. But I do wonder why they want us to believe this, or not believe it but see it and say it.

"It's wrong to arrest niggers because look at this graph," of course.

And making false claims that everything is getting better all the time is a necessary part of Our Democracy (total humiliation of the population). Even Trump does it now.

But this crime drop thing is "extra," as the kids say. And all the establishmentarians, from commie to libertarian, have been singing it to the heavens for years.

Better a wholesome Biblical story than the globohomo brainwashing slop that most animation studios push out.

Yeah either all this, or like, tren de aragua and co were actually committing a whole bunch of crime

I really wanted to see Light of the World. Wholly independent animated Bible movie, drawn like the Prince of Egypt, with actual Disney alumni for animators. I ain't even a Christian; I just loved the aesthetic and found the idea of the movie appealing. Unfortunately, it launched in the middle of September and I was working 60 hour weeks. By the time that period ended, guess what happened? Movie stopped playing all over New York state, and I would've had to drive into friggin Elizabeth, NJ to actually see it.

I'm honestly just waiting for the Blu-ray/DVDs to drop so I can torrent it. This movie looks so sweet. It leans into the Biblical narrative that John was the youngest of the apostles, and he's basically a teenage boy here. The only complaint I have from the trailer is that Jesus looks a bit too much like Moses from the Prince of Egypt, and I'm dismayed that Val Kilmer ain't voicing him. I'm also 90% sure that the movie doesn't include "Eli, eli, lama sabachthani" so... make of that what you will.
