We recently heard him prattle on about how he can't lift, hold, pick up, or feel things and he spends the first few minutes picking up and showing off his toothbrush collection.
No dropping anything, no whining, no nothing.
His lies are so broad and so numerous he can't help but contradict something with every video.
I also notice all the toothbrushes look completely unused. none of them look worn or dirty.

i dont get it...in the amount of time it takes to do all of this, you couldve popped your pills/whatever and it could be kicking in. it doesnt take THAT long...ive heard about the whole "bioavailability" thing but its not that huge of a difference, i imagine.

It's the faster high that's the selling point for the user; the quicker the onset, the higher abuse potential. It's why opiate appreciators in inpatient care request staff just absolutely slam IV opiates, even if the difference is one second vs 20 seconds.

Personal theory is that the cooking and (no needle) syringe use is part of the habituated ritual.
 
His goal in malingering isn't really pain medicine, though. Pills are far too pedestrian of an addiction for our crown prince of poo. Dat halp and poopy diapers are Andy's true addictions. Nearly every thing Andy does is in pursuit of those two things. His whole life revolves around it. Even in prison it was all he cared about.

If Andy had to choose between getting wasted on pills or having someone change his diaper after he enjoys sitting in it for six hours, I think you can guess his choice.

I think if isn't addicted, he's just taking them because he's a baby bitch when it comes to pain, like Nova. I haz an owwie, better take 4 Tylenol.

That, or he's trying to take lots of it to try and turn autistic.

Of course if he doesn't want back pain he could eat healthy, drop 250 lbs and not look like a human egg in a diaper. But personally I'd prefer if andy showed me what's what and went to the fridge and ate all the butter then ordered pizza. He's already obscenely fat, why turn the boat around now?

I dunno; a route is a route, and lack of veins doesn't stop a junkie.

I'd rather have someone squirting rectal heroin than have them getting abscesses and/or sepsis from skin-popping. Don't get hung up on the person using the drugs: infections require a lot of scarce healthcare resources and bring us all another step closer to the day antibiotics stop working for everyone.

You misunderstand. It's not just about speed and/or bioavailiability; if that's all that mattered you can snort it, smoke it, or shoot it (they're all fast and bioavailable). The thing is that up the bum works better for stuff like morphine that gets modified in the liver; if you snort/smoke/shoot/boof it you get past that liver reconstruction. So boofing is the best step for morphine specifically because unless you're going to shoot it, smoking it and snorting it won't do shit more than eating it (but boofing it will). It's one of those weird drugs. For something like oxy or fent, you just snort it. Can't do that with morphine (or it'll be the same as eating it, is my point).

Fuckin' druggies making me learn about their passtimes...

i take oxycodone for my stupid arm that i destroyed in an accident a couple years ago....im facing yet another surgery for it, and they tried to up my dose and switch it to roxicodone, and i didnt like it at all. apparently it is formulated to work quicker, and it did, and made me absolutely useless.
i understand what you mean about morphine now, that makes perfect sense actually!

All this. I'm tired of catering to the whims of junkies and psychotic people. I don't care what anyone tells me people like Andy did not exist 30-40 years ago. They got bullied into suicide by the 11th grade or they just got swallowed up by the underbelly of some large city. You had perverts yeah, but you knew nothing about them. You knew nothing about their lives, never got a glimpse into the horror show behind their closed doors and you certainly had no clue about adult diaper fetishists and the idea of someone faking autism just to force people to wipe their asshole was beyond any imagining. Sometimes I wonder if the Mayans where right. The world ended in 2012 and we all died and this is hell.

They did; they were just kept in asylums. The asylums were so overcrowded and understaffed that the patients sat around naked, smeared in their own shit all day. Almost Heaven for Andy, except they would keep him drugged into insensibility at all times and nobody would pay attention to him. If he acted up, they would give him a nice ice water bath or a shock treatment to calm him down. If he got violent, they would drug him some more, tie him to his bed, and discuss giving him a lobotomy.
