Why endorse abortion when we have better options coming up? We have the ability to genotype embryos and select for them, the only issue is knowing what to properly select for, that is intelligence and genes non deleterious to it. Genome wide association studies(GWAS) are the main answer, this is how you have companies(herasight) now that openly talk about the modern understanding of how polygenic intelligence is and how there's the ability to select for it since GWAS have allowed us to select for intelligence and other health related options. Is embryo selection currently cheap? No (it's about 5k currently with herasight) but it gets cheaper and cheaper. Data being the main issue is also a resolvable thing, we just need more genomes sequenced, simple as. Eventually we'll be able to alter genes and it wouldn't be insanely expensive (bet on it).

If someone is all about eugenics your concern shouldn't be abortion it should be making family planning easier/cheaper for high iq and productive members of society while limiting the ability of reproduction for those inclined towards criminal behavior. This is basically how Europe got to the low crime higher cognitive ability point that it did. Hang the criminals that we don't want/can't trust in society and let productive people have families. Not having shit like a caste system that allows for upward mobiliy of intelligent people also helps and lack of super clannish behavior like how Europe had with the Church also probably really helped tbh.
