Abortion and war are icky things (one could argue the same with capital punishment - even on the worst ghoul you can think of you shouldn't be giddy to load up the lethal injection needle). It doesn't mean they can't be necessary and ultimately better for society as a whole.

The people we want to get pregnant and raise families statistically aren't getting them. I wish we could be intellectually honest and quit acting like society is losing out on something because statistically your future mugger or daughters rapist got shop vacuumed out.
