Billionaire philanthropist MacKenzie Scott donated $7.2 billion this year in her biggest ever giving announcement.

The gifts bring her total philanthropy to $26 billion over the past half decade.

Scott, 55, who was married to Amazon.com Inc. co-founder Jeff Bezos until 2019, made the latest contributions to 186 organizations around the world, including universities, environmental nonprofits and groups fighting for equality.

Scott’s net worth stands at almost $40 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, largely stemming from her stake in Amazon. Earlier this year, a filing showed that she had reduced her holding in the online retailer by $12.6 billion.

Since her split from Bezos, Scott has become one of the most prolific philanthropists in history. Her giving is characterized by large gifts to small or otherwise overlooked nonprofits. Unlike some other billionaire donors, her donations come with few strings attached, giving recipients the chance to use the money as they see fit.

Scott has donated to more than 2,700 organizations since she started her philanthropic project several years ago. The latest list includes many groups that already received gifts in the past.

For example, Camfed International, or the Campaign for Female Education, which helps get girls in rural Africa into schools, received contributions in 2020, 2023, 2024 and in this latest round. Altogether, her gifts to the nonprofit exceed $105 million.

Other repeat recipients include Upstream USA, Blue Meridian Partners and Restore Local, which work on health care, social mobility and land restoration, respectively.

Scott’s announcements are frequently accompanied by essays. This year she wrote about a prophecy written by Hopi elders. “It encourages us to recognize and celebrate our role as active participants in the co-creation of our communities,” she said.

Tbh I'd probably give away billions too, being a billionaire cannot be worth the hassle. At least when you're just a multi millionaire you can attend more events and feel less like a sore thumb. At a certain point, wealth probably just alienates you in ways you don't even realise.

Being ultra rich does actually involve a fairly large amount of hassle and you have to have a lot of interest in wanting to continue to be that level of wealthy to do it.
Nigger, if I could stick $40B in my savings account, I'd just pay full tax on the interest and have nearly $4M to burn every day.
It doesn't sound that hard.

Or do you think she reads kiwifarms and and will see this?

Wow, that's a lot of money spent to make sure the fentanyl keeps flowing into nigger neighborhoods. She's probably a national hero in China and Venezuela for how much she contributes to their GDP.

>40 billion - 12.5 billion
lmao

At this rate she won't be able to do this much longer, and hopefully most of the orgs she's donating to are trying to line their own pockets with admin expenses while they can...
Has there ever been a bigger waster of money than her?
$25 billion in 6 years, holy shit.
This bitch might be broke within a few years.
Shes actually had years where her net worth increased in value because shes so fucking rich she can't vet the orgs and give shit away fast enough lol

If she is on the streets in five years homeless well I will concede you were right.
Billionaires never go homeless but the trajectory suggests she might end up in debt.
I'm sure her lawyers will figure out a way for her to still live comfortable even then.

I don't know if it's better or worse than Bill Gates who stole/exploited billions from Americans and then gave them away to infinity niggers. She is less culpable in the act, but still doesn't return the money to the victims.
You really believe Bill Gates is trying to help Africa? That seems extremely naive to me.

I am sure that’s why mega lottery winners and sports niggers always succeed so well lol
Money is like a calorie controlled diet: Put more in than you take out and you'll become fat (or rich): Take out more and you'll become thin (or poor). It's really not complicated.
Unfortunately, most people's idea of a monthly budget is the the amount of money they have divided by one, then look surprised when the account hits zero. These people are niggers, even the white ones.
On the other end of the scale you have people like Warren Buffet, eating at the same steakhouse for decades, and with more money than God.
Just add up what you have coming in, subtract what you have going out, and keep the final answer positive: If you are thinking about spending money that will make the answer negative, you can't afford it.
Of course if you can snag billions, or even mere millions, as a start point then this process becomes a lot easier.

Being ultra rich does actually involve a fairly large amount of hassle and you have to have a lot of interest in wanting to continue to be that level of wealthy to do it. Maybe she’d rather just give up the ‘more money than God’ level of wealth and just have ‘more money than I will ever need’.
To make that amount of money, sure, but when it's dropped in your lap, it would take a couple of days at most per month to maintain it. That money is handled by groups of people who spend a lot of time maintaining it, but the owner won't. She spends much more time being love-bombed by charities looking to fleece her. I bet this is the first time she's ever actually felt useful since she married Bezos.

For example, Camfed International, or the Campaign for Female Education, which helps get girls in rural Africa into schools, received contributions in 2020, 2023, 2024 and in this latest round. Altogether, her gifts to the nonprofit exceed $105 million.
That's a good thing, though. Making niggerettes smarter means they will have fewer offspring, so there will be fewer niggers in the time to come.

Tbh I'd think up a few of my worst enemies then donate a billion dollars to them.

You ever notice that there’s all of these rich hoes that end up gaining power either by divorcing their husband or their husband predeceasing them?
There’s an old movie that I can’t find on Jewgle, but it has a quote that goes something like this:
“The useless wives, wasting their husband’s money. They populate the theaters and restaurants, spending the money, eating the money…”

When one of the women interjects “well, they’re human too!” The speaker turns to the camera and asks “Are they?”

It’s hardly a new thing.

That money is handled by groups of people who spend a lot of time maintaining it
Yeah and those people NEVER take advantage of those with new wealth with no knowledge about what their money people are doing.

I am just saying there’s a bunch of people saying ‘oh it is so great and easy to be burdened with more money than the GDP of some nations’ who will never have the experience of knowing what that is actually like. 🤷‍♂️

I wasn't trying to imply that they weren't being taken advantage of. They obviously are. Generally, they have too much money to notice or care, and by the time they notice, it's too late. Still, a monthly meeting over finances and a basic understanding of how they work would avoid this. It's more work than a lot of nepo kids want to do, though, and to be fair, the financial system basically grooms them to listen to dogshit financial advisors. It's 100% avoidable if they put in a very minimal effort.

100% agree on this. Being rich isn't as easy as people think. It is very much a gilded cage.

Why do you choose to be a homosexual?

With that kind of money you could fund a mercenary army and take over a country in Africa.
