Is this a return to form? No new comics, just occasional reposts from the Assigned Male back catalogue?

What a shame. The assassination of Charlie Kirk really motivated Labelle. It was sort of fun while it lasted. Maybe Bill's fire will reignite when the next public figure is murdered for having wrong opinions. He might get out of bed to "flood the zone" again.

Probably the donations dried up again. His foray into political cartoons has gone the same way as the furry comic, the porn and everything else he does.

I've noticed that the only other thing that seems to motivate him to put out a new comic. Is whenever J. K. Rowling is in the news or has triggered some loser on social media.

He should do a "This Week in Trans History" series where he posts interesting historical trivia about trans people.

Today is December 5, on this day in 1993, Susan Peters of Council Bluffs, Iowa became the first trans woman to have her neo clitoris fall off and get eaten by her dog. Jessica Simpson of Vancouver, BC would follow her example 29 years later. The more you know!

In practice such a series would be tendentious historical revisionism about who is trans.
Emperor Nero was married to a trans woman, so what's your problem Nazi? :P
There were historical trans people.

Like Elagabalus. One of the most insane, sadistic, psychopathic Roman Emperors.

You would hink a man who has spent years tracing photos of children would have learned how to properly draw them by now. Every single human Labelle illustrates always ends up looking like a lumpy potato.

Studying art styles like handwriting, Billy's is sloppy, tilted, appears like he's trying to create a charming cartoony style but it just comes off creepy. There's something gross to me about his linework (and I don't mean because he traces from his literal photo collection of young children, which is creepy no matter the art style). I knew someone who had a book on this kind of thing, I gotta study up on it.

You assume he is drawing and tracing regularly. He isn't. I imagine he sometimes goes weeks without drawing/tracing anything.

If I may throw forth a naïve (or at best semi-educated) take on it:

Large head, small body is fairly common in a lot of cartoons to allow the face to do a lot of the work, but large head, small body is also a signifier of neoteny, or babylike proportions.

If it's the former, then one would expect his faces to signify an adult mentality. Popeye, Jon from "Garfield", and Betty Boop have big heads, but they're also drawn to be adults. Most cartoons with "teens" shy away from the neoteny and go towards the broad-shouldered beefcake, the wasp-waisted beauty, the skinny dork, and so forth. Like nobody thinks that Velma in "Scooby Doo" is an actual underage child. Physique as a signifier of where they are in the social pecking order. Then you have kids like "Family Circus" where the neotany is visible and intended.

For this one, they are drawn like they are young. Like very, very young. And there's nothing to go against that.

Like I was unfortunate enough to see some real CP during the last wave of attacks. A naked girl with her legs spread. Based on the size of the head to the body, she might have been four.

Billy's art has those proportions.

Big heads, chunky bodies, shapeless sacks for clothes.

Huge plausible deniability about whether these people are supposed to be 8 years old or 18 years old or some other age.

Gross.

Billy's almost made a valid joke here. Not hilarious, but it is a joke.

I should point out that the stretch of water between Eastern England and Western France/Netherlands is named The English Channel. At least, that's what's we call it in Bongland and perhaps the rest of the Anglosphere.
Everywhere else calls it La Manche (meaning 'The Sleeve' in French). It's a French name, but it's one used by Spaniards, Dutch, Germans, Polish etc. etc. etc... and it causes no issue.

I don't care what the Yanks call their gulfs and ball sports, because that's up to them entirely. Lots of words are different.

In the US they call hookers "tramps", tramps "bums", bums "fannies" and fannies "pussies". It's not that confusing.
Or in reverse, we call pussies "fannies", fannies "bums", bums "tramps" and tramps "Mummy".
