the clip to which Nick is responding contains at least three things to which Haley's insinuation about defamation would have been referring, yet Nick only alludes to two being defamatory:
1. Aaron paraphrases Melton as having said that he "wants to have sex with children... that he wants to fuck kids";
2. Aaron paraphrases Melton as having said "multiple times said he's OK with AI child porn"; and
3. Aaron states that Nick "got [his] child high on cocaine."
OK Nick, which two of these statements were lies, and which third statement was therefore the true one?
The projection is strong with this one. Exactly how long was that "simple contract" with Rumble surely coming down the pike any given day until he finally fessed up about that all being bullshit without even being asked? A year and a half? Close enough.

It can't be about Nick because, even supposing that MAPton buys into Nick's spiel about how a non-attorney can still be a "lawyer" (which may be true in some jurisdictions but not in Minnesota), Nick never "ghosted" him insofar as he's still active in his chat as recently as that very show, and probably never shuts the fuck up in his DMs for that matter. Meanwhile it almost certainly can't be the Barneswalker because, notwithstanding how brazen he was to take on this joint representation with arguably non-waivable conflicts, completely "ghosting" a client who has actively sought out basic information runs too much risk of professional discipline even for him, plus a "ghosting" coupled with so many weeks without so much as even scheduling of a hearing date would have led to MAPton filing a substitution of counsel by now unless he's being told of some sort of progress mooting the need for that scheduling.
In contrast, the last thing ever publicly heard from
any "lawyer" was Johnson's October 31st letter citing the respondent's "disingenuous and suspect" attitude toward the settlement negotiations as a reason for the petitioner to essentially walk away from the negotiating table and move forward, so Johnson "ghosting" the respondents after any desperate begging for him to come
back to the negotiating table would be entirely consistent with the position he already expressed. In that case the short November 14th chambers conference may have consisted of little more than each side noting a few non-negotiable sticking points that had gotten in the way of finalizing an agreement, followed by Judge Ole urging them to try to work out those last few issues by December 1st or else his clerk would be in contact to schedule the recommenced evidentiary hearing. It depends; the saccadic intrusions themselves would be from physiological damage, but any trigger making them briefly become visible would be of more psychological origin. If you look closely, when the saccadic intrusion episodes start to occur he appears to be aware of them enough to immediately react by moving his head around, blinking, squinting, etc. to shake them off almost like how a dog shakes water off its fur, which combined with the sunglasses has concealed his condition quite well. However, when he is caught off guard in a brief moment of poorly repressed inner-child rage like in that clip where the otherwise sycophantic host surprises him with challenging pushback or in other instances at the thought of other particularly enraging topics like Kurt's disloyalty or missing Aaron's goo, that psychological trigger can get him distracted enough to remain stationary for a few seconds and the saccadic intrusions of physiological origin briefly become visible until he snaps out of it and remembers the need to fidget them away again.
I liken it to how he has spent an entire lifetime fully aware of his malignant NPD at best or psychopathy at worst
but fortunately had enough above-average intelligence and rote memory to construct a complex latticework of defense mechanisms mimicking his observations of how ordinary hu-mons are supposed to speak and behave, which was reasonably accurate until several years of extensive brain damage from alcoholic B1 deficiency, whippet-induced B12 deficiency, sleep deprivation, and stimulant psychosis gradually shaved off so much processing power and so much long-term memory that the tattered shambles could no longer keep up the rote mimicry in real-time and brief glimpses of his core personality were revealed more and more over time.
