Ah yes, closed captioning for youtube... where it's been an automated option for years in English, and is fairly accurate so long as the person speaking isn't a mushmouth retard. I'm sure there's so much work available in that space going forward so she can maintain her "career".

Yeah, I never followed the Holly aspects that much, but man. This also explains why Marz got so pissed that the venom guy, who nobody heard of but had some big fight over awhile ago. Marz dropped all this like hot potato and went full into make believe 'I have to redeem myself about sex pests and will find anyone to go after, if in my animu obsession, all the better'.
The Nettles vids have gotten better and better, his CTC/Marz one was good, but the details here even though it's really long is really worth it. There was a coven of marz, holly, lupa and man-woman linkana going on.

Funny that Marzgurl used to make some sort of movie or anime reviews in her Channel Awesome days and potentially invest her skills in video editing, but she chose Closed Caption instead. Closed captioning and subtitling are widely considered among the lowest-paying jobs within the English-language anime localization industry, generally offering less income than most other crew roles such as video editing, voice acting, and production management.
Everyone that was part of CTC were a bunch of autistic kids that wanted to become famous on the Internet and none of them went far for that path. Probably a LolCow stats, lol.

The only respectful captioning job is live captioning. Live TV, or a court reporter. I had a close gf that got a degree in deaf education that was a bit 'slow' even reading captions on Jap stuff, but could type out live very well on those old voice to text caption machines.
What marz has done is take AI translated voice to text, look it over, make corrections, and act like it's a 'job' of any skill.
Anyone doing live text on TV or phones is great, but even that's almost now almost auto. She says it takes a week to do 4 hours of voice work, lol.
If you consider that her thought process was to get into the anime industry by any means necessary, even if it meant the lowest paying shittiest position that a decade ago companies were trying to eliminate, it makes sense. She sure as hell wasn't going to be doing voice work, couldn't manage her way out of a paper bag(plus having zero experience) and her video editing is likely mediocre as fuck since she never seems to have done much of anything beyond cutting clips together which any idiot can do and was never the main focus of video editing for localization(especially since that bit of it was usually already mostly done anyway).
What she could have done(and didn't bother to do) is expand her video production skills(lol) and become an editor for a larger youtube channel or twitch streamer. Plenty of them do it to cut 3-6 hour vods down into more digestible 30-90 minute videos, and in addition to that cut clips into short form content for youtube/instagram/tiktok/whatever. Fuck, as many vtuber clipper channels as there are, some of them even get paid for it without being directly associated with the vtuber they post clips of(in addition to the revenue for operating a channel that can actually get views). Of course Armz can't do that with her own content, so probably couldn't edit someone else's content to be entertaining. And the biggest issue would be that she'd have to take a backseat to someone else and her ego probably wouldn't let that happen.
Yeah, more and more of that is definitely being automated. Fuck, my cellphone can do it for live audio in a voice call. But while live captioning is an actual skill she doesn't even do that. Armz saying it takes a week to caption 4 hours of work when she's got a script to work with? LOL

How is anyone this incompetent? No wonder she has no career. That level of output would be completely unacceptable in any real professional setting. She thinks that shit would cut it in Japan?
I don't think she believes she could get a job doing captions for English in Japan(she's also too fat for it), I'm actually not sure what she thinks is a step up for her career that would somehow involve her going to Japan. Surely she would know that localization businesses and teams for other languages don't need to be there(but she's retarded).
As far as her taking 5 business days to do 4 hours of video... I can't imagine how lazy her workflow must be. Do an initial pass for the dialogue and obvious sound stuff,, proof watch it, correct it. Maybe a third pass if necessary? 2 days, tops assuming 8 hour workdays, not watching it at 1.5-2x speed, Since afterall, 90% of her job is sitting and watching anime while taking notes...
Wait, sitting around watching anime and taking notes... didn't she used to do something like producing content about anime... right anime review videos after watching an anime and taking notes. It's kind of amazing how many of these CA idiots have had the opportunity to double dip on something(like spoony and streaming while also getting game footage), improving their video editing and doing that semi professionally, etc. but they just can't because they're lazy and entitled.

Yes, and the person making the initial claims was also a weirdo stalker who lied about a photoshoot. Hell, Vic didn't do anything either other than make some inappropriate jokes at work and got in trouble with HR because he wasn't part of the clique at the company he worked for and didn't realize it.
But back to Flynn, the guy has been attending conventions as a guest for years still all over the US including one down in Los Angeles earlier this year where Armz is located and it wasn't an issue then but because she's supposedly done whining about Vic(lol) she needs more targets and apparently this 61 year old man that can draw crowds is maybe her next victim?
