Actually Vic was doing well by making money as a VA. Armzy on the other hand has no marketable skills which is why she grifts. In that sense Vic has more worth in this world than she does.
Someone continuing to stream like Ethan Ralph at least makes sense. At least at one point he made decent money, but all his on and offstream antics have rendered him otherwise entirely unemployable. So he basically has no choice but to limp along pathetically.
Not to mention he has actual talent as a musician and singer. What does Armzy have? That she's finally wider than she's tall?

I'm pretty sure youtube was doing their AI automated closed captioning 8 years ago, it's absurd to think that's when she decided to jump into the "closed caption industry" as a career. Even fucking Adobe Premiere has had this built in for a couple of years now using speech to text and both of those don't even rely on having the script which Armz would have for her "job", This would be like deciding getting into data entry to convert paper documents to digital would be a good career option in the 90s as OCR became cheaper, and then wondering why you can't get any work.
