I don't think you actually looked at what I posted. The smaller trials are showing symptoms improving including hallucinations. It's not theyre hallucinating and self-aware it's that the visual and auditory hallucinations are going away at least in the people who reached clinical remission.
Look, I don’t want to keep this whole schizo side thing going, but I’m just going to say that you could have all kinds of false positives in reporting “remission” because the way it plays out is plateaus and cliffs you fall of, so everyone gets to cyclically relieve the trauma and despair of the original diagnosis
It doesn't have anything to do with nobility, it's about not painting people with a severe illness as secretly relishing it somehow. You're also expecting rational decisions from someone with an illness that is characterized by being irrational.
Again, my last words and I’m off the subject.
Each time they go off their meds, what damage is incurred in that episode is permanent. You can “come back” in the sense of coming back out of the acute psychotic episode, but your brain isn’t growing back any of what was lost in that period. It only moves in one direction
You also literally can’t live around someone while blaming “their disease” for everything that happens. While personal responsibility has diminished effectiveness when a person’s capacity is diminished, it’s also the only way to handle it.
Sounds cruel? Yes, it is. But if you’re around someone like that, you’re still responsible for yourself after whatever simping you feel like doing. You still have to be a productive person. You can watch the teen drama movie where the schizo kid is some kind of hero all you want but it doesn’t translate to real life.
You think it’s fine, like it won’t affect you to live with a schizophrenic? Good luck with that. My advice is to save yourself and get as far away as you can. Go full Tristan in legends of the fall.
If you have some kind of crazy idea that some schizo girl is hot and accessible, don’t fucking do it. It’s a lot worse than BPD
Literally the only reason I’m a functional person is because of profound detachment at a young age. You can’t have a regular parent/kid relationship with someone who might just fucking kill you some day
