Zelensky is finished if the war ends and he knows it. So long as he can keep that war going they don't even need to hold elections. The longer he can keep up the fighting and refusing peace the longer he gets to be the unelected president of the Ukraine.
That nigger declared martial law in 2022 and that country is long overdue for another presidential election, which I'm sure after almost 4 years of sending the boys to the front lines and the young Slavic women over here to get mail ordered and banged out by American men, I'm pretty sure Zelensky would lose that election.
Whether or not he could capture the presidency again is irrelevant, not because of the fact that he refuses to hold an election until the war is over, but because of the other gigantic sword of Damocles that is currently hanging above him named Putin.
Putin has a rather bad habit of killing people that get on his fucking nerves. I would absolutely classify running and crying to America to start a long drawn out war and then refusing to go to the negotiation table something that will get on Putin's nerves. So not just for the fact that he's basically the president for as long as this war goes on for, he pretty much knows that he's going to get whacked like that "Layla" scene in Goodfellas the second that the war is over and the entire world isn't watching.
So basically I believe that he is kneeling with the ball and trying to run the clock out until either Putin dies or he dies.
