Especially considering Mario was a fucking 2d sidescroller, what story was he seeing in those games? It was a random guy with no backstory or personality saving a princess we knew nothing about from a turtle monster we again also knew nothing about. I would say the first movie did a decent job considering there wasn't actually any lore or developed characters to work from.

I remember back in my childhood there was a TV show with real people playing Mario & Luigi and then episodes with cartoon Mario, Luigi and so on. Not much of a story either but it somehow worked out. I mean ffs. the Sonic movie is also not similar to the video games. Phil is just retarded or he wants to play the contrarian just so he can farm views and maybe new fans

You’d think Phil would get tired of publicly fumbling interview attempts.

His humiliation fetish works both ways. He likes to give and receive. I think there are times he's realized he enjoys the punishment but the comedown always sinks him back into denial and that need to feel like the bully and not the victim. He's a fucking yo-yo whatever provides him with the greatest feeling of indignation in the moment is the direction he's bound to travel in.

His autism is just so odd. WHY ARENT THESE MOVIES/SHOWS EXACTLY LIKE THE GAME? THIS WASNT IN THE GAME!!!!!! He never has a good reason for not liking something.

To be fair alotta gaymers act this way over adaptations. Half the time their only concern seems to be how closely the cast resemble the original fictional characters. They'd take the shittiest actors giving terrible performances so long as they look the part and they say the iconic lines.

In phil's case he's just incapable of enjoying anything these days that isn't directly tied to him being given money. The loop he's been on for years has let his mind truly waste away. He's expected to sit in front of a tv and not get paid? Wauw dood that's unthinkable to a man with a family and a business to run.

A question related to wwe champions I'd like to see answered- if his bankruptcy forms had to list where all money his money was going, why wasn't a single dollar listed as being spent on wwe champions/mobile games?

It will be interesting. My take is that asmon press him on some of the grift stuff, but I feel in the end asmon be good faith with him on somethings and just let dsp talk himself into felts. I really don't feel he'll go all questioning and criticizing him through the whole thing like other interviews he's been through in sidescroller or steve.

I would honestly be surprised though if asmon takes learning dsp lore seriously and actually bring up shit about wwe gacha, taxes, or police reports dsp was involved in.
