Regular poor people are also the biggest opponents of mass immigration because they are the ones having their wages driven down by it. I always bring up the example of how Cesar Chavez used to organize mobs of farm workers to go beat up illegal immigrants. That was Spic on Spic violence so there wasn't even a racial element to it. But middle class liberals love mass migration, so of course they despise the people who oppose it. Mass migration is far more important to them than anything to do with socialism as it has traditionally been understood.
It's not just regular poor people. Across the economic spectrum, wages have been suppressed using illegal labor, guest workers, and H1B visa holders.
It’s moreso that the average person is wayyyy more cool with being associated with nazis than they were a decade ago. Will has himself and people like him to thank for that. The “Nazi” position is way more reasonable than it used to be, and we are way funnier than liberals to boot.
It's fucking wild that giant corporations found a way to market increasing the reserve army of labor to leftists. A white person who drives your wages down is a scab, but if a brown person does it then it is your fault for demanding too much from your employer.
I don't think it's that people like you so much as your opposition has gotten so insane and annoying they just don't have the energy to deal with you anymore. Which is something that I guess you would still consider to be a win.

The Left used to be really good on this. It's the same in the UK, trade union leaders like Bob Crow were always fine with immigration but only if everyone was on a legitimate work permit and they were in the union. That's one of the reasons he opposed the EU, the problems with mass migration and undercutting wages, and because the EU doesn't have a minimum wage and there were a bunch of legal cases like the courts ruling in favour of Viking flying the flags of the lowest minimum wage member countries to pay their staff like shit.

"Nazi" has been defined down to anyone who thinks there are two genders, illegal aliens don't strengthen your society, and the blacks in prison actually did commit crimes. There's also something intrinsically funny about making losers point and sputter.
It's HR departments. They will use anything to protect a company. It's not exactly hard to do this. You just need to have really stupid people with no moral code...aka your average human resources employee.
