It's because Illinois is a nigger state. People like to pretend it's just Cook county but Galena to New Liberty is all nigger. Born there? Nigger. Lived there? Nigger. If you're ever driving through make sure to carry a filled out job application or your W2 on you at all times or you might start to turn. It's not a coincidence that the worst parts of the surrounding states all share a border with Illinois.

I'm not usually into generalizing states (if only because I don't really like or agree with the way that state borders are demarcated, but that's another topic), but it does seem that Illinois breeds a lot of damaged and broken people, even if they're from a good distance from Chicagoland. I'm not even being mean; I literally never came across anyone who had anything good to say about the state, and it's not even in the "flyover state" sense.
