I have a question for people who have been following Phil for a really long time. In every single MGS playthrough Phil will, upon being spotted, run into a room or dead end and point his gun at the door, as if he's going to camp at that spot and kill the infinitely-respawning enemies. It's so consistent that I was wondering, what game did he play in his earlier career, or maybe even before that, that taught him this is a good idea? He does it every time; it must have been programmed into him by a different game.

I haven't watched the MGS Delta TIHYDP because I can't listen to him BLAH BLAH BLAHing for the millionth time. Does he do it there, too? Also, is there a "Just kill me!"? It doesn't feel like a MGS TIHYDP without it.

I sometimes wonder if he genuinely has had a stroke.

There’s times, and it’s bad today, where his lips don’t seem to move as fast as his mouth and he talks in like a muffled slur.

Maybe it’s a symptom of alcoholism I don’t know about.

Phil actually owning a restaurant would be like a rerun of the best ever episode of Kitchen Nightmares where Gordon goes to try and help Amy's Baking Company.

The show was obviously always amped up with exaggerated nonsense for Gordon to overreact to along with misleading editing but this episode featuring owners Sammy (authentic italian I think?!) and Amy didnt even need any fake drama to beef it up since the couple were legitimately insane.

Sammy was the fake tough guy who stole all his waitresses tips and insisted it was fine because they were getting regular wages from him. Amy spent her time obsessing over online troll reviews and seething over people not liking the food acting like it was a physical threat towards her family of old Sammy and a bunch of cats she spoke to in baby 'meow meow' speech as if they were her own children.

In true phil-like fashion it was all about the appearance of them running a sa-sessful bizness that mattered to them and any criticism dealt huge narc injury and was forever met with hostility and denial to the point it was one of the few times (maybe the only time?) Gordon simply gave up and walked away because they were truly beyond help. The pair of them combined were exactly what I'd expect from phil calling himself a restaurateur.

Sammy was also deported back to Israel :story:

Maybe if kat didn't have her eyes hyperfixated on the chat all the time, she wouldn't see most of the "mean" comments that get removed anyway. kat is just another way for phil to be an eternal victim, he never does anything wrong, it's all da twolls fault, blame them for his mowife not showing up on stream anymore!

You're inferring intent, where there is none.
With Phil, there is no long term problem solving.
He hears bad noise (getting caught in mgs), then runs away, doesn't have the awareness to evade enemies and hide somewhere (cause he never actually understood the game), so he just runs until he can't anymore. Turns around and starts shooting (cause why not, it's over anyway), then dies and blames the game to protect his ego.

I'm not saying Phil is smart, but there are behaviors that he has picked up over the years, simply from repetition. For instance, don't mention large tip = dents cough up to reach the goal. This isn't cunning, he's just picked it up from streaming so many times it got drummed into him.

There's probably a name for it. Apparent cunning that is really just repeating certain actions that resulted in positive actions previously. It usually blows up in his face e.g. new vest reveal the second time ≠ more tips like it did the first time.

All he wants from a lawyer, (preferably one with a Youtube channel with a lot of subscribers and clout) is to make scary videos telling the detractors how much of a case Phil has against them and how hard he could fuck them unless they give Phil money.
That's pretty much what he wants. He thinks he can scare the detractors but he forgets the biggest part about threatening people......you have to be able to make good on your promise.

There isn't any netcode in the law to hide behind, Phil.

I’m really interested what business he thought he was going to open?
None that he could run.
Man that routinely struggles to see the screen has his monitor or whatever over 5 feet away from him... tell me this nigger has a 70 inch flatscreen he has mounted to the wall that he uses as a monitor.
It's at least 55". It the last one he bought and paid someone to carry to the room.
Yay kat is depressed because of us !
She's depressed because she's woken up to realize what a worthless shitbag she married.
