My main point was I recommend that there not be a Chinese board. I predict it won't bring more users to the farms no matter what form of Chinese is the arbitrarily chosen medium. It's an easy 1 for 1 conversion on most browsers and some websites even have functionality built in to change the character set, Wikipedia for example. It's too much to consider and too much work for a slim chance to increase the userbase. There is one single Chinese flag on the entire International Clique board and it's mostly people speaking English anyway. I suggested Traditional because that's my personal preference and what I feel is right. Maybe change the PRC flag to the ROC one for the sake of being contentious, maybe that would do something?

Null I just clicked on a post in one of these boards and all of it was in foreign and I got scared please ban everyone who knows other languages

I dont think china would like a site that supports free speech and if you'd advertise to them you might commit suicides with 3 bullets to the back of the skull.

Don't get me wrong I like the Chinese and I like their money
Oh yeah cool then we're on same page. And I just saw the Chinese filter in Internationale.

but I don't have any way to attract that demographic.
The filter's a start. I get the lack of faith in it, but if there's, based on the poll options, a serious chance of attracting Korean users, Dutch users (they speak English anyway), German users (they speak English anyway), and Turkish users, then I don't see why not Chinese users.

Main problem would be, as I'm seeing, is rest of the Farms potentially shitting up the Chinese threads, as that'd kill any growth before it could start. Once established, it'd go something like the Salon where it manages itself, at least as far as I'm figuring.

I could draft up an OP for a thread explaining the idea, machine translate it to Chinese, and just see what happens. You could also add an option to the poll here (or future ones) for Chinese.

I would not mind an ebonics board that only shows up for the day of St. Floyd The Beathless
Hell yeah dats dat bomb ass idea Cuz, talkin’ ‘bout niggahs cain’t breef, Cuzz dey cain't, cuz. Dats dat fried ass chicken, crispy fried right. Dey do be trifling tho, dats fo real.

Ah’ve got 5 onit, let’s get dis shieet done dawg, word is bond

I hear they like Xi Jinping winnie-the-pooh memes, and jokes about Tiananmen Square. I think if the site had more of those you would get a flood of Chinese support.

Dutch users (they speak English anyway)
Tbh, 4K views and 95 posts in 13 days, it's not a blaze, but there's at least something simmering.

NL General thread

I'd just love to be able to get eggshell Kiwifarms stickers in form of the logo with a small QR code that links to the forum.
Get me a good price for bulk orders and I'll order and spread them across the European continent as I roam.

I mean, I travel a fair decent bit throughout the year and have family spread across Europe, it'd be easy.

I speak Icelandic natively.
Hef stundum íhugað að byrja þráð un íslenskar flisskýr, en ekki verið viss hvort það væri gott opsec að spjalla um fólk hérlendis, enda er það nánast 'að símaskráa' sjálfan þig að tala Íslensku.

There are plenty of Icelandic lolcow candidates that should be discussed. If there's enough of us around maybe we should get on that?

Also plz don't group us in with the Scandinavians. We don't understand them and they don't understand us. They all (save most of Finland) just speak a variant of Danish since they bent the knee whereas chad and superior Iceland simply inbred and starved to death solely to keep our language from devolving.

Regarding translating the site, it's easier said than done. There's thousands of language tokens on the forum. All the translations that XF offers you have to pay for, and they would be missing a ton of customizations that I use. We'd basically need a git repository for it.
It would be easier to attract new users that don't speak english, though. That and putting their thread (hispanoablantes, lusofonia etc) as their "homepage" in a way would be an interesting experiment, specially for non-registered users.
I still think you can't find the Farms on Google, only the articles saying it's a harassment/cyber-stalking website, so i think it hardly matters, anyway.
