Did you know that Sean Hannity is one of the largest Section 8 slumlords in the country? He's been buying properties and turning them into Section 8 housing since his first radio paychecks. Upwards of a $billion in units now. He doesn't talk about it much, in fact it was a closely-guarded secret hidden behind multiple layers of shell companies until a lawsuit a few years ago let the cat out of the bag.

The best money is guaranteed taxpayer money. Second-best money is ranting to boomers about those bad people who accept guaranteed taxpayer money.

The Trump lolcow thread isn't enough for some people. They come to this thread and troll because it has the highest concentration of pro-Trump people on the site. To be fair to the trolls, they get tons of (You)s without even trying. Most of them are obvious socks. It's simple enough to put them on Ignore and be done with it, but some people on this website are adamant about grinding their own gears.

Before the shutdown hit, I did say that its a bad idea for the dems to try and negotiate concessions with no leverage. You don't get to demand that someone dance to your tune or suffer the consequences, then scream when they find a way to get what they want without dancing. Normally the blame of the shutdown would be up in the air, and the feckless GOP could very well be stream rolled by the Dem propaganda. What gives me confidence in a Trump/MAGA led GOP is that Trump is very adaptable and instinctively understands how normal people think. All the moves he is making to make sure mothers, children, military, etc keep getting funds is brilliant politicking. It's undercutting every criticism the Dems could level against the GOP and reemphasizes how the Dems are literally shutting things down for no other reason than to hand over a trillion tax payer dollars to illegal alien benefits.

The thing about jokes is that they are supposed to be funny. There can be some absurdist humor in tragedies, but these people are reveling in the death, not making jokes, not making any sort of pointed commentary; further more, they would celebrate the same if it happened to you and me.
