Reorganization of September 29th, 2025

@Null
I think this is a must:
- New prefixe for America First, the groyper types. I will be moving all of groyper-related lolcows out of Ethan Ralph's subforum so they can get more exposure. I am reluctant to do so now.
IP2 has one, there is no reason to leave AF out, which at some point had a subforum.
The prefix can look like this:
🐸 Groyper
Dark green frame and a light green fill, sort of like the lolcows prefix but inverted.

- New prefix for "dabbleverse", the collective of barrel scum who orbits Aaron Imholte and now Nicholas Rekieta.
Aaron, fat nonce Melton, Stutter John and the few other worthless barrel scum will get this prefix.
I guess it can look like this:
🥾 Dabbleverse

I still think Nick Rekieta's thread needs its own prefix. The other threads with their own thing add up to less pages, all with similar activity and frequent posters.
His slut wife and bull Drexel could share this prefix.

What would the colour scheme be? Who knows. Pink? All of them are fags.

I think that it's time to bring back tags. I'm debating how to do it but at the moment I do not want to create more with for myself.

Your perks for doing this will be:
  • Special flashy decorations, optional.
  • Access to a board for status reports, and
  • Once a month, you can feature any post on the site at your sole discretion for 24 hours. These posts will be distinguished from staff features both on the front page and the post itself. I will tinker with this to reduce limits up and down depending on how it's used or abused.
I'm still waiting for the ability to donate through the new way of sending checks so I could get these perks, specifically the flashy decorations :(

I think it would be interesting to have a board for entertaining and easy to mock companies / organizations / Lolcorps where no particular person is a lolcow and it doesn't really fall into the communities section. Things like Game developers, really stupid political organizations and just bad scammy companies could go in there. Some existing threads like the Ubisoft and WordPress threads could be merged into it off the bat. This would probably fall more under off topic then on topic.

I'm not one to bitch about about the site and changes to it but merging everything into lolcows kinda sucks. It makes navigating the site and finding info on a specific topic more difficult. Anecdotal but I have had 2 irl friends tell me the only reason they don't use the Farms more is that its a pain in the ass finding the thread they want and the information they want in the thread. The improvements to the features function helps the thread problem but eliminating more categories kind of makes hitting the front page and looking for info on any one person more of a chore. The categories should be better defined, but there should be more sorting of threads on the front page.
Merging 90% of the lolcows into the same board, while still keeping the lolcows in "the beauty parlor" segregated is peak Null behaviour

Yeah and they left when the threads were fucking divided into ten boards bro
You aren't wrong, I had to explain to them that Grift Wars was for political spergs and so on. My point was mainly that boards were confusing do to nomenclature not do to their very existence. I'm just trying to think of it like some zoomer coming to the Farms for the first time. I'm dumb and I want more dirt on random twitch clown x. If I were to log on and immediately see something labeled "streaming cows" or something else that level of obvious I could probably assume my twitch fags thread was in there. I'm not trying to complain or tell you how to do your job, I appreciate having a place like this, I just want the Farms to have more traffic and success.

Considering there is a thread about "YouTube videos with 0 views", what about a little feature that shows some obscure thread on the main page or somewhere else? I mean, we had something like this as a "similar threads" feature. I can't say I used it much, but still it was fun.

Minor autistic nitpick:
For the front page Lolcows board listings section, can Prospering Grounds be made the last board listed? Right now it's 4th out of 6. It looks weird to have tentative/un-proven threads listed before the more established Stinkditch and Lolcow General.

Changes are not too bad.

But I am still unsure about merging Community Watch in with all the others. Those threads always felt a little different and moved at a different (slower) speed.

I worry about them getting lost in the list.

Maybe it's just me but I'd prefer if Community Watch was split off from Lolcows again. I get merging things like Grift Wars, Internet Famous, and Lolcows as there was too much overlap with all the Internet Famous people being exposed as grifters and going full lolcow, but all of those are individuals while communities are more abstract and discussed differently than specific retards.
Agreed. Community Watch feels out of place with standalone lolcows. Tough guys, Grift Wars, etc are obviously quite hard to differentiate but group vs. individual is obvious.

Minor, but it would be great to stay on the page you're currently viewing when logging in, instead of always being taken to the main page upon login.

Probably a hassle, but coming up with some way to better document key moments in a lolcow's thread as some things get lost. I know that there's highlights and the OP, but it can be hard remembering some details of a Lolcow's history at times. For example, I've created a list of key posts on my own profile to document Boogie, but feel like maybe if there was a designated mod who could add key moments to a post just after the OP or into the OP could be an idea. As it stands, Boogie's OP is 5 years old and a lot has happened.

Have noticed some great quality of life changes the past week or so.

I didn't realize Stuttering Jon was entering Rackets' orbit, ty for the explanation

He streamed about the guy's lolsuit and make a few gay Diddleverse tier tweets about him. He's now adopted their lingo too by calling everyone dorks and nerds. The guy that cried about his transformer toy being confiscated is now calling people dorks.

Community Watch is back.

I don't think it's clear what I'm doing with "big boys". That is not a forum. That is a category. It is a category that sits inside a category for the purpose of segregating the lolcow threads but keeping them together. I've renamed it Prime Cuts. If I can make its intent more obvious let me know.

It is unacceptable, put a z in front if you have to.

Ze Prospering Groundz
I was in the middle of looking for an invisible ASCII character to put in front, to get the same effect. But it appears it has been ooperated into submission.

I was gonna ask why the Share to LinkedIn button still exists but sometimes I see it and get l'appel du vide to show my normie coworkers a world they never had a clue existed (and torpedo my own professional life) and that's as good a reason as any for it to be there.
