As a healthcare worker, I'll say you're not wrong. Hospitals are run the same way, say, Netflix is. Actual care doesn't matter. Allowing doctors to doctor doesn't matter. "Meet these milestones so we get money from the government and have a lower risk of getting sued." That's the mandate.
Too many doctors from the last , honestly, 5-10 years of graduating classes are not taught how to be doctors but, rather, be salesmen for this shit.
And Nurses are mostly retarded, many just falling into whatever social trends they see online. They THINK they're smart, they're not. They THINK they're critically thinking, they're not. They THINK they're heroes, most aren't. Emptying a a catheter and handing out Norco is not heroic. The standards for their programs were pretty grim pre-COVID and have only gotten weaker. It's appalling.
TL;DR-; Doctor's are incentivized to do bare minimum, too many RNs and they're mostly fucking dipshits with an ego. Source- I work in the field and have for a long time. I'd get out but I'm kind of stuck.
