The left literally cannot meme.

Its an art form of syncopation, subtlety, and severity. You can't just cruise control for cool and expect it to work the same way the professionals do it.
Reality is stranger than fiction. I can't believe I'm living in a timeline where the left, who has had a monopoly on cool for like 50 years, is now the party of stodgy dorks. We are so far away from the days of Clinton playing saxophone on Arsenio Hall or even the Obama "Hope" posters.

I want the republican party to have every BS tweet from the dems over this slowly scrolling in a video, on a website, put it on billboards with big letters saying "They think you're retarded." when it comes time for election season again. Just shoving it into people's faces that these fuckers think their constituents so dumb that they can't take the few seconds it takes to learn how a filibuster works or remember the last time this happened just a few years ago. We're winning and I'm happy, but I'm more angry that these sub-humans have taken a position meant to represent the wants and needs of the people and done this shit instead.

here's something weird... why aren't we hearing anything from "antifa" or anyone being arrested during the riots in Portland/etc? even if they are in jail, wont we hear anything from families or whatever?

Holy shit I can powerlevel about this.

Ok, so. Long story short, I was very close (at one long distant point in my life) to an individual who has now been immortalized in the classic "antifa collage" pics. They got picked up for arson after trooning out and jumping several states. They were always a fucking deviant, to an extent I'm not sure the modern me would have been able to tolerate, and we (everyone around them) knew that eventually some stupid fucking shit would happen due to this person.

It's likely because everyone around these people EXPECT this shit to have happened. For every crazed trantifa fag there's a community of people who would go "nothing about this surprises me" when one of them gets brutalized by ICE/DHS/Whatever. And thank god for that.

I can't lie, when I saw that prior-posted video about the antifa thug being target painted from a rooftop, I wanted nothing more than that one subtle finger movement to finally prove that this shit won't fly anymore.

Memes, like all humour, is the realisation of a concept that links existing knowledge in a way that is unexpected but still logically valid in the terms of it's context. That gets a lot harder to do when you need a very specific way of looking at context instead of one that is naturally observable in multiple forms.

Vance does seem to be the type that would've been into the Man Show era. I never cared for it, but can see him being so.
He grew up poor white trash with a pill popper mom. He absolutely would've found the man show funny. I think I was around 12 when that show came out and I know that he's only 3 or 4 years older than me, so it would've been right up his alley.
But I wouldn't blame JD for distancing himself from anything that Jimmy Kimmel has ever been a part of because that dude has turned so vaginal that I imagine it would make you at least technically bisexual to admit you ever liked Jimmy Kimmel at this point.

You were never suppose to get rich off of representing We the People. It was considered a hardship and a community service. Keeping it such should be a deterrent from any one person making this a career. There is a major disconnect if you excuse illegal, unconstitutional and treasonous actions, because you feel someone doesn’t get paid enough. Then quit the fucking job.

This is the same mentality as stealing Nikes , iPhones and Louis Vuitton handbags, because muh rich men.

People need to have some damn integrity.
There is a difference between politicians and statesmen.

Politicians want power over the people and want to gain from it.

Statesmen want to serve the people and will sacrifice for it.
