I don't understand how anyone can watch and enjoy Colbert, Meyers and the others now. Surely even if you watch it just to confirm what you already think it would eventually get annoying hearing "waa tr*mp is bad and doing bad things" and the same handful of jokes about him every night. It's been over a year since this crap started, surely at some point people will get bored and switch off the tv unless some of these late night shows mix their subject matter up a bit.

What makes it more irritating is that they've been doing this shit since Trump announced he was running for president. I got so damn tired of the Trump jokes last year, and bear in mind I didn't like Trump at all around that time (I don't like him much now, but I dislike the people opposing him more) so even for me it was tiring.

To put it another way, we've been hearing the same crap about Trump since the tail end of 2015 at the earliest. And the late night hosts have been doubling down on the same jokes since he became president, just altered slightly to make them more timely.

To answer Dobbo's tweets one by one:
Tweet 1:No. An impeachment would only elevate Pence to the White House, Paul Ryan, as speaker would become vp. Also, should Pence be impeached and Ryan become president, the new speaker, whoever that would be would become vp. To remove all republicans drom the presidency in the next 4 years would require 200+ impeachments of every republican representative in the House. Also, impeachments are individual trials so they take a while to do.

Tweet 2: Sure, if you can prove each individual cabinet member was guilty of a high crime. The burden is on the accuser though. But you won't get Hillary, you'll get Paul Ryan and some random republican representative as his vp

Tweet 3: Dobby, there has to be a specific law he can be charged with breaking. Not being Hillary isn't a crime thats impeachable. Also, an election team isn't necessarily the same people as his cabinet.

All assuming a republican house would vote to impeach, AND a republican senate votes to convict.

Either way Dobson's fantasy seems to be that Hillary is in the line of succession somewhere, and she isn't. ABC has opted not to renew the longtime Friday 8 PM anchor for Season 7 despite the fact that the blue-collar sitcom was ABC’s second most watched comedy this season with 8.1 million viewers in Live +7, only behind flagship Modern Family (8,7 million). It was the third most watched ABC scripted series overall behind Grey’s Anatomy and Modern Family.

The Tim Allen-starring multi-camera sitcom often had gone down to the wire on renewals, with ABC and producing studio 20th Century Fox TV wrangling over the series’ license fee. ABC is supposed to cover the cost of the show at this point in its run, and LMS is on the higher end for a multi-camera sitcom because of the marquee salary Allen commands, but 20th TV had agreed to license fee reductions in the past and reportedly were open to another one. This time, there was no negotiating or bargaining, with ABC simply deciding against another season.

With a central character who is a political conservative and devout Christian adhering to traditional American values, the blue-collar comedy appeals to viewers in the Heartland, a constituency that helped elect Donald Trump as president and has been energized post-election as evidenced by the ratings success of new USA drama Shooter.

The cancelation is a financial hit to 20th TV, which had sold LMS in syndication where the sitcom has been doing very well, a rare off-network ratings success story these days.

The Blaze and Breitbart are taking it as retaliation for Allen's public support of Trump. I don't know if I believe that but it is weird to cancel a successful show.
