it's not the Christian position anyway. when you forgive someone who has wronged you it means you no longer hold a hatred in your heart against them and wish to see them repent and come to Christ. It does not mean you are to wipe their slate clean and let their evil go unpunished. Forgiving someone in your heart does not cancel their accountability before God or society.
