I was listening to the EO signing live. Lutnick brought up that there'd be an annual fee and that'd it apply to renewals too.

He explained enough that this wasn't going to apply retroactively to jeets that applied for the FY2025 cycle so the people who're thinking that are retarded. Odd that he brought it up if it isn't in the EO unless they already talked about it and plan to recommend it as an extension? He isn't apart of the group outlined in Section 3 (b) but he's still a cabinet member and must have talked to those people about this.

The absolute closest you can get is a Constitutional Amendment, simply because it's nearly impossible to get enough people on both sides of the aisle to actually reach the 2/3rds majority you need to pass one, and Prohibition proved it's not impossible if it ends up being unpopular enough.
