So any incident happening off camera becomes a "he said-she said" and even if the staff is in the right about an incident involving an individual living at the facility, 99 times out of 100, the facility will choose to terminate the staff member involved rather than risk bringing on any kind of lawsuit by the individual's family or guardian.

Yeah, Andy has very clear cycles.. you can almost predict what he's going to do before he even knows he's going to do it. Whoever said he doesn't have cycles isn't paying attention. He also threatens to kill himself all time. Even though that has more to do with getting attention than anything, he probably does have some sort of depression. The guy may not be autistic but he very likely has multiple mental illnesses.

There's no way Andy is getting 24/7 care. Even if he did, it wouldn't be enough. He always wants more.

I personally think he does switch between depression and mania. While he is faking his autism symptoms, he isn't necessarily faking his emotional / behavioral issues. As the great Hank Hill would say, "that boy ain't right".

I also don't believe anyone takes away his phone. Regardless of what he does with it, no one would be able to legally take away his property, unless it somehow went to a court or something, and I don't see the courts wasting their time dealing with something like that.
