The gunt guarding that goes on for Tom and Jan in the saga of Andy Ditch is an aspect that I'm truly at odds with.

They absolutely were victims in what cannot be called anything other than extremely cruel and unusual punishment. I'm not arguing that point at all.

What I am arguing is the fact that Tom and Jan have had a very central role in the fact that Andy remains free to be a horrific menace to society whose existence is funded by our tax dollars and who is taking away resources from people who genuinely need caretaker services.

All of this idiocy could have been nipped at the bud by Tom and Jan. All they had to do was to vehemently press charges for attempted murder against Andy. That, alongside all of the other terrorizing that he had done to their neighborhood would have been enough for him to get thrown in jail.

Tom and Jan had the ability to stop all of this shit so many years ago and yet they never went through with it. It resulted in their lives being turned into a waking nightmare from which death was deliverance. It also exacerbated the issue for society as a whole, as this miserable fuck continues to carry on with the retarded horse shit at the taxpayers' expense.

I guarantee you that Andy will at some point come back to the Ditch household because Tom will do what he has always done: enable Andy. Whatever outstanding warrants he has won't mean shit if the victims don't press charges (which they have never really done in the past). It's also why nothing happened to Andy when he came back for the funeral.

My genuine sympathy for Tom, Jan, Joe and anyone else who has had to deal with this fucking piece of shit does not stop me from also assigning blame to them. Andy for the most part, is their creation in every conceivable way.

If you learn more about Tom and Jan, you'll find many similarities between Andy and his parents. He truly inherited all the worst aspects from his parents, amplified by his delusions, ASPD, pampering and enabling.

Andy got his whole "buze" thing from Tom, who also has beef with Bentley and Tonawanda PD, simply for doing their job and handing him a speed ticket, whereas his manipulative tendencies stem from Janet, who coached Andy to make up the Sexual abuse allegations against Mike, just so she could get rid of him.

You know what is actually hysterical to me?

Tom shows more legitimate symptoms of high-functioning autism than Andy does. Now, i'm not saying that Tom is actually autistic, but at a baseline, Tom shows more patterns of ASD than Andy does at his baseline, which is hilarious considering how Andy is actually TRYING to be autistic. He misrepresents and misunderstands the symptoms all the time, which is why it's so evident that he is faking.

Some examples would be Tom having trouble with volume control (especially when it's emotionally or conversationally inappropriate)
Very strong sense of "justice" and thinking errors that are in total black and white instead of including nuance, shown by his beef with the Tonowanda PD feud over the ticket or whatever.
His home shows a pretty distinct lack of focus and organizational skills and ALWAYS has, its not even just because hes old and handicapped.

Again, I don't think Tom is autistic i just think it's very funny that a person who is not actively trying to fake a developmental disorder appears more disordered than someone who studies it to emulate.
 
These fake reviews demonstrate that his baby retard act is fake in so many ways: he's oriented to where he is and why, he knows the effect leaving a review online is supposed to have on others -- showing both a sense of cause and effect and social awareness, he demonstrates the ability to read and write at a typical adult level, he shows he can operate a computer and thereby perform a multi-step mechanical process independently and generalize from one time he used it to the next, he demonstrates an awareness of what's normal and what's abnormal treatment in a social context of a severely intellectually disabled person, he shows he can project the consequences of his actions into the future in both a general and specific ways (uh...this might just be a fancy way of saying he demonstrates a clear grasp of cause and effect...), and so much more!
