Having been in this position myself, albeit back in 2012, I can tell you one thing. If you disagree with one side, they call you a nigger and a faggot and make fun of you for a little while. The other side will shoot you in the fucking neck. It's pretty clear to me now, that since I have some disagreements on both sides, that I'd much prefer being called a faggot to being shot.

It also bears noting that one side wants you to take your kids to church on Sundays, and the other wants you to chop their dicks off or make them shower in front of pedophiles and creeps. Personally I'd rather take them to church than make them shower in front of a troon, or worse yet, become a troon. That part didn't really take hold until after 2012 though, so you have a much easier choice than I had.

I find it problematic that this is happening. Taking joy for his death is disgusting and to me unethical but it's not illegal and making it illegal is problematic.

so, whats the deal with all of these leftwing tweets with 100K+ likes? usually it'll be in the range of 200-300K, and obviously for the past few days they've been the typical gravedancing. im sure we've all seen them, and its part of why we're all so appalled at the sheer magnitude of the sociopathic celebrating. even with my timeline mostly consisting of rightwing tweets, i hardly EVER see one with 100K likes. maybe for every ten or twenty leftwing tweets, i'll see one rightwing tweet with 100K or more likes. the average "viral" rightwing tweet tends to have about 30-50K, with the rare 100K+, and the even rarer 200/300K+, usually only from popular accounts during a big Happening, while many of these leftwing tweets are from nobodies.

so, is it bots? or is that just a way to cope with how many of these NPC brained sickos are out here? in the case of it being bots, its a pretty big deal. with how interlaced Twitter is with the political climate, seeing so many tweets encouraging political violence with hundreds of thousands of likes makes it tempting to say fuck it and go HH and TLD mode. its enough to cause a serious political divide. however, i cant help but feel like im coping if i buy into most of the tweets being botted and giving them a pass for their demented behavior. if they're real, what happened with this big pendulum swing to the right? i thought Twitter was "based" now, yet i cant scroll for a minute without seeing some random sheboon say "YASSSSS that racist is GONE sis" and get 392K likes, absolutely overshadowing every other RW tweet.
