Can you believe we teach teenagers to drive, and then someone could have a mental break or be radicalized into driving into a crowd?

If you enjoy the sport of hunting or shooting, you understand the respect a firearm deserves and you teach it to your child because you want them to have a healthy respect for it as well. Plus it's a way to spend time with your kid doing something they may think is cool. (Super bummed when I found out Rupnow's dad was wanting to spend time with his daughter and it was a ruse for her to get access to guns).

Unless I'm misunderstanding your focus - I agree that there's a lack of ability for many parents to monitor their child's access online. I talk to coworkers about it a lot, especially if I hear their kid plays Roblox. If that's what you're really criticizing then I'm with you 100%. Even having a degree in networking/security, I worry when I have kids its going to be difficult to really keep tabs on what they're doing, and I'll have the benefit of having local DNS to log where they're going.
