Money YT 5/5 - shirt buyer cancelled, finances

The funniest part of the whole Financhu crisis is that he actually does have a dependable way to make money in the form of his comics. All he'd have to do is a page or so every few days, and he'd generate income from weens who want him to make more.

Naturally he's such a dumbass that he's decided he'd rather scrap that idea to sell garbage and skylanders crap.

This cannot be overstated enough. He brags about spending fiiive nights--Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday night--hand sewing this, while rotating a shirt with unraveling stitching and obvious holes everywhere. In the first ten seconds he says "I have finished it," yet later states "I'll have to fix that." Somehow I had forgotten the atmospheric highs to which Christian's delusions can soar.

I just can't rack my brain around the fact that he took this shirt to the premises of several seamstresses and tailors who told him that the shirt was beyond repair, yet in his own words he believes he knows better than these experts and decided to try to fix it himself. I can't imagine the level of delusion it took for him to believe he was more talented than people who do this sort of thing every day.

I also think it's kind of gone under the radar that Chris has now dropped his stamp book to 250 dollars. It must be a personal blow to him that he had to reduce his coveted book by 75% because nobody cared enough to want it. You can hear the resentment breaking through when he says that it's the lowest he'll sell it at. Chris is at his best when he's resentful.

Oh thats not the delusions, thats just Chris being a redneck.

...I can even offer an example off the top of my head from that once I watch from Pawn Stars like there was that baseball player who I think... I don't know if he was illiterate or never learned to write? Yeah, but then but he... did... did draw a drawing or some sort of artwork... oh yeah now I remember, his name was was Shoeless Joe Jackson. Yeah someone came in with a drawing or painting that came from shoeless joe and his signature as best as he could write it on there. And I don't know how that came out but anyway. Even before they (unintelligible autistic muttering) was good or not it was highly praised for its value by Rick Harrison... or whoever whoever was at the pawn shop that time... I don't remember. It's still good show. Good show . Anyway so let's see...

What the fuck are you even... screw Chris for spending that money on Skylander shit instead of some ritalin so he could learn how to make a point.

I don't think Ritalin would fix autism this severe. Chris is pretty much losing his mind at this point, if he ever had it in the first place.

I think maybe the point he was making was that because he's a celebrity like Shoeless Joe, his work is highly valuable? Or it might just be another neuron firing randomly in its death throes.

You can tell he's still stuck in the Very Special Boy mindset. He explains to us that he can't use a sewing machine and this work took him several nights, but we're still supposed to be impressed and therefore hand over thousands of dollars because he tried.

His voice swaps out between a stroked out Julia Child and classic Chris

Also, does anyone remember him drooling on himself this much?

"If I didn't have this mortgage and aw da crebit card deps, we would be a lot better off at home we could use the money for... you know... eh, well we would do a lot better but we can't... MY LIFE, welcome to it."

You were gonna say toys, Chris, toys. *sigh*

Not only that, but Chris believes he restored the shirt well enough for it to INCREASE in value even though he noticed that the stitches are coming out.

Plus they were literally being paid to hang out with him.

This is a complete myth. He was fed that information by trolls who pretended to be past members of his high school in order to get him to cool his increasingly disturbing obsessions over his high school gal pals at the time.

I'm not saying that wasn't the reality but at the very best it's speculation, the people who said it weren't actually old high school friends. It confuses me how so many users who were actually here at the time forget this

I thought that was how people interpreted this stuff Chris said:

"Here's the principal, the Infomaniac from Lego Island, not in any way corresponding or whatever to acting and past Principal Mr Peter Koste. And there's my dad, negotiating with the Principal, because, that's one way to make friends in High School, negotiation." It doesn't actually literally say they were paid, though.

From the Lego set video.

And to make up for him not getting any awards for his art skills at his graduation ceremony, too. Don't forget that's also the world's debt to him.

I don't think we have any solid evidence that the gal-pals were offered money, but Bob definitely did ask the school administration to find some students who would let Chris hang around them and allow him some semblance of social interaction, and the gal-pals we know are the ones who let themselves be drafted to it.

if we didn't have the frickin mortgage and all the credit card debts we bill up we'd be a lot more better off here home can actually use the money for you know

Yeah but a lot of working people and students feel the same way Chris, why should we help you out of all those people?

He said that in the Lego Tour because he had just been informed through the fake high school friends around the same time. It wasn't like this was something he'd always been aware of or something Barb told him, his only information all comes from what he was fed by people who weren't even there. I'm saying this all before @Marvin probably comes around to tell me I'm wrong to be fair

High school friends weren't paid (although they may have been asked to let Chris eat with them at lunch) but that one girl was. Chris admits that Bob would give him money to give to some galpal.

Look at Natasha Turner.

Then what did he spend the $750 on?
I know Chris bought the Skylanders custom character cards but those are fifteen bucks apiece. The figures are fifty bucks and the tshirts are twenty-five; Chris probably bought figures and cards (Since you can't use the tshirts to play the game) first and then made the shirts the last part of his his horrible, horrible plan.

And remember;

This is the catalyst that convinced Chris his 'art' is worth thousands of dollars.
