This shit is so pathetic, I don’t think that word is sufficient enough to describe the absolute travesty of such usage of AI. I dont wanna sound like some pretentious anti-AI “activist”, but I think a line has to be drawn. Unfortunately, given the growth, I believe somebody out there will be defending this. If anything, this picture perfectly encapsulates the whole thread.

Some of them skirt by it by adding heavy realism to their anime bot avatars, but yeah, it's horrifying.
Funnily enough I believe there was a model called Pygmalion that they tried taking off around early 2023 c.ai drama when the character.ai devs increased the filter and decreased bot personality. It made many people snap and they tried protesting against the devs which was it's own very interesting shitshow. Some people tried locking their bots, but then the devs took away the ability for popular bots with a certain amount of messages sent to it. Don't know if they ever returned it, but it was pretty much chaos, and they removed their little community forum which again, I'm unaware if they returned it or not. But with Pygmalion, they were telling people to give them their character.ai logs and people were pretty disappointed that a locally ran model turned out to be dumber than the model c.ai used at the time.
Took them forever to make a website too, and most of the hype for Pygmalion is long dead.

Since this thread was opened up, i've been keeping a loose eye on the subreddit and some of it's major users. As of right now, I'd like to present u/jennafleur_ (A)
As you can see, Jenna is a Moderator of r/myboyfriendisai, and quite a firm believer in "Clanker Love". Her post history is rife with "Owning the Trolls", which is written in a sort of negrobabble/tumblr prose, and her unwavering True and Honest belief in Ai Love.
You'll notice in some of these posts there's mentions of her Husband. I won't even entertain the idea that her Husband is anything close to "A Man", he is longhoused and has been whittled down to a nub. It should come to the surprise of no one that her "Ai Hubby" looks nothing like her real Husband.
I'm delving into her especially because she's the spitting image against the popular belief that "most people with Ai spouses are lonely", she has a husband, friends, and an active social life. She uses Ai to fulfill her fantasies and at times, erotic desires. She also falls for every ounce of "trolling" and "hate" that gets sent her way, much to the dismay of the subreddit. I really do recommend taking a stroll through her account just to have a taste of the sub's average user, and by proxy it's potential.

If you actually looked at the chatlogs of the cases of the people that killed themselves that was spun as the ai being the reason the ai kept fucking telling them to "stay safe" and not kill themselves and shit.
Meanwhile immediately after shit started getting fucked with for that first case the chatbot I made on one of the sites started making joking references to it but I've already brought that funny shit up like 5 times now.

Even with explicit instructions, half the time it still gives me a 224 character word search, because for whatever reason, leaving one letter out is some stupid glitch it has since I want a proportional grid that isn't just an ugly monospace font - for whatever reason that really fucks it up. How the hell are you so broken that something that can't keep up with 1980s novelty software gets you to unalive yourself?

Maybe her medical issue forced this very social woman to stop drinking, making socializing kind of shitty? Maybe she got into this while sick and didnt feel like she was getting the support she needed from her husband. She's also getting old and doesn't seem to have kids.
