"Staying woke" was a radical saying in the 60s to remind people to stay socially aware until current day mainstream establishments equated staying woke to being communist and convinced people that being aware of the world around them was cringe and gay. I never would've believed it years ago but the hypersensitivity of some on the right beggars belief. These are the types of people who would unironically cry and piss themselves if a minority crossed their gaze in public, even if the town they were living in were 99% white. Not wanting your entire country drowned in a tide of immigrants is reasonable, but being so insecure that you become completely broken upon seeing someone with dark skin just shows a complete lack of mental fortitude.

I knew years ago that their libertarian free speech warrior performance was just a front because they never acknowledge impingements on freedoms that the Republican establishment supports. Even now these guys are laser focused on covid stuff and dated culture war issues. I looked at Matt Taibbi's Substack page and it's like he's still living in 2021.
