If there’s one thing I hope dies with Trump it’s this blind devotion to a politician. Before Trump it was pretty well agreed that politicians are shit for the most part. I think Obama broke their brains in a way because he got such attention for being a historic president. No one owns Obama flags or crypto or hats or whatever bullshit. There are no Obama store and restaurants, even though as the first black president it could warrant it in some circles.

I just discovered Art Bell shows from the 90s are on YouTube, have been listening to some from 1993 when I was still in high school, just for the nostalgia about what was going on in the world at the time. Two things struck me, one was that most of the people phoning in were intelligent sounding, fair minded and well versed in current affairs, and not completely insane and retarded like MAGA types are these days.
The second thing was that you did also have a few wackos phoning in with conspiracy theories of all kinds, which is amusing, but I was blown away to hear the exact same Hilary shit that people come up with today. In 1993 - Bill had only just begun his term. Art always shut it down.
