I'm not sure either. I know the "door kickers" are famously like >98% right-wing, and combat arms in general are majority white which implies certain things. But it seems like all the generals are Deep State creatures who spent all of Trump's first term lying to him, backstabbing him, and dragging their feet.
I don't mean this to disparage, but the military has always had a strong draw from the Deep South of the US. I also think with Generals, that'd be the last bastion of neo-con influence, so the loads of backstabbing probably has a significant, though unknown, amount of order-followers, ironically.
And as for irregular militias there are many Democrat supporters radicalized these days who openly hope for violence now that they're not getting their way for a couple years.
OK but are they REALLY militias or just LARPers with guns?

Militia was maybe the wrong word, although not in all cases. But while sometimes a civil conflict is two organized sides lining up with similar forces and shooting at each other, I think just as often it's very lopsided where one side is just doing surprise strikes, bombings, IRA-style shit. I don't think it's as impossible as some people do, especially when so much rhetoric even from high-up Democrats leans in this direction, calling Trump an outright fascist, calling his policies genocidal, "MAGAts," all this stuff is psychological prep for justifying violence.

Since we don't seem to have any left-wing people on the forum that can express themselves without seething I think I'll try a stab at it.

I am becoming increasingly worried about the amount of power being concentrated in the Executive and within one political party (Republicans). Without a second viable political party to vote for, it means that the one party ruling the country can start doing whatever it wants. We already see this with how many EOs Trump signs and the various things that are obviously illegal trying to be pushed through. Things such as trying to punish people for exercising their 1st amendment rights--such as supporting BDS or other anti-Israel platforms.

Dem Congress is obviously incompetent (who knew bringing retards, niggers and faggots would cause your party to become incompetent?). So what's left? Only the judicial, where activist judges have been trying to wrangle Trumps' various EOs, to varying levels of success. But honestly they're also incompetent and I think as these cases make their way through the courts, sometimes up to the Supreme Court, they will, mostly, go Trump's way.

So 2026 comes around. Is there anyone on the right that would vote Democrat? I know I wouldn't. With the voting registrations being cleaned up and the ability to cheat being mitigated, it doesn't seem like the Democrats will make much progress. Therefore, I believe the Republicans in 2026 will comfortably win the House and the Senate. Once this happens it'll be near impossible to prevent them from passing whatever legislation they want. Whether it be anti-free speech laws under the guise of anti-pornography, the lack of regulations against payment processors, or endless gibs for Israel, there won't be the possibility of opposition. I really wish the Democratic party would change their platform, but I honestly think it's too late.

Once Trump is out in 2028, that will be the true test. Did the swamp actually get drained? Will Democrats come back around to more common sense policies? Will Republicans cuck for Israel and start a war with Iran? Will de-regulation go too far and corporations rule supreme? Who're the 2028 candidates, are they actually decent? How did the next 3 years of deportations go, and is the American citizenry up to continue it? How're things looking with the fent/drug crisis? Is India a superpooer yet? Is Canada a failed state yet? Is Mexico still a narcostate? Some of these might be easier to predict than others...
The left is evil and they deserve their collapse. I for one welcome the 1000 year Republican Reich that i've dreamed of since Obunga fucked the country up the ass. May the liberals fucking suffer.

Allow me to rephrase...

When I question if it's LARPing, I mean I can totally buy that these idiots would try making a molotov cocktail using a plastic water bottle.

That the hate's there, that I buy. It's whether any of it is more than just feckless thumb-sucking at the end of the day is my deal.

I think what we're going to see in the future will be something akin to the last days of the Roman Republic.

We will see each side becoming more and more extremist. The POTUS will swing back and forth between the two sides and each one will immediately cancel every EO the last POTUS made and replace them with EO's that fulfill their own agenda. Each will use the instruments of state to punish the other side in ever increasingly harsh ways as bad sentiment builds up between the opposing ideologies. Society will become ever more polarized between the parties as the middle ground shrinks and centrists are forced to choose sides.

This will go on for awhile until things get so extreme in the country due to the massive back and forth law swings that one party will seize power and instigate a civil war ending the American Republic and starting the American Empire. Which side? Beats the fuck out of me.

Really this will all, eventually, be laid at the feet of the 2016 DNC crew who broke the political norms by attacking Trump outside the political sphere, probably under the direction of Hillary Clinton who is a known vengeful cunt who never forgives a slight and always takes her revenge even decades after the fact.

Normally the political class have some sense of unity and unwritten laws they adhere to about once the election is over you let things go. But the DNC of 2016 did not do this, they pursued Trump relentlessly both in the political arena and outside of it. Attacking his business, his family and his support apparatus. Probably in the hope they could drive him off in 2020. Make life such hell that he's just quit and leave but he didn't and after 2020 the elites lost whatever restraint they had left and just went all out. We are all familiar with the circus that was the lead up to 2024.

Under these unwritten laws once the election is over both the winner and loser come together to milk as much money from the public funds as they can. This was the standard understanding that both sides wanted the same thing and much of what was said/promised during the elections was just talking points to feed the masses to keep them complacent while their betters looted as much as they could. Nothing would actually be done or changed, that would upset the status quo. Winner got the bigger slice of the pie but in the end both sides were the same pretty much with the same end goals. Elites always have more in common with each other then the rest of the country. It's one big club and your not invited etc etc.

Along comes Trump in 2016 and for whatever reason his victory sent the then DNC core into so sort of spastic rage (again I blame Hillary). They tossed out the normal unwritten agreement and continued their assault without let up, without pause, without restraint, even after the election was settled. They attacked Trump on all angles relentlessly, they prosecuted his supporters, they prosecuted him, they used the apparatus of the state to punish him for 2016 and 2020. It was unheard of. Even the then boogieman of Nixon was allow to slink off into the dark once he resigned unmolested but even after Trump "lost" in 2020 the assault continued without missing a beat. In fact it ramped up...probably out of fear seeing the growing resentment of the masses, Trump's announcement he would run again and a last desperate attempt to both run him off and show the base the DNC was still the more powerful of the parties.

Now from Trump's viewpoint his actions are completely legit. I believe he honestly wants what he says he wants and he feels not only supported by America at large he feels chosen by God thanks to that near miss. Not only that he feels fully justified in going after these people as in his mind they not only tried to destroy him, jail him, bankrupt him and his family they tried openly to kill him. So he does what he's doing, fully confident in his actions.

What happens if Newsome does win in 2028?

Well first day he cancels all of Trumps EO's and spews out a slew of his own. He frees all the "wrongfully convicted" lefties and re-ignites the prosecutions of Trump supporters. He will probably go after Trump again as well to appease his bases need for revenge.

Ok so 2032 rolls around and lets say Vance wins, what does he do?

Ok so 2036 rolls around and a Democrat wins POTUS and the cycle continues getting more and more extreme every time until the social system itself snaps under the pressure and the two sides finally start openly fighting.

The winner announces a new American Empire in everything but name rules until another uprising inevitably occurs as power corrupts ultimately and history has repeated itself once again. Humanity seems strangely incapable of learning this lesson but it must be in our nature to rock the boat until it capsizes in the hope that it will be our ideology that wins the inevitable conflict.

It all so...tiresome.

I appreciate the criticisms and think they mirror what much of the more level headed left believes. To give a hopefully equally fair response:

I don't see Trump exercising executive power beyond constitutional authority or precedent beyond what we have seen for decades. The current political landscape is that of perpetual veto. This naturally results in expanded reliance on executive orders.

For anti-free speech executive orders, the flag burning one comes to mind first. In a very expensive view of the first amendment, this could be viewed as violating it. However, directing his agencies to vigorously prosecute people who burn the flag for existing crimes is very in line with current judicial precedent. For using hate crime charges, I don't like that is the environment we live in. But I find it more intolerable to allow only one side to engage in that type of prosecution while the other sits on the side lines. Tit for tat at least has the chance of the whole thing being thrown out

For anti-bds laws, I think laws banning it entirely should be thrown out on their face. For laws banning contracting with companies doing it or divesting from companies doing it, I think it is more complicated. Again, in a much more expensive reading of the first amendment, I can see it being unconstitutional. However, if the government is allowed to not do business with "Total Nigger Death Plumbing", which I think every court would rule is within their ability to chose, I think it necessarily follows they can chose to not do business with or invest in pro-BDS companies.
But honestly they're also incompetent and I think as these cases make their way through the courts, sometimes up to the Supreme Court, they will, mostly, go Trump's way.
I don't like having to rely on perpetual 5-4 supreme court rulings. It divides the country and brings question to the legitimacy of every institution involved. Coming from the right however, it feels like a breath of fresh air to see your politicians actually try.
Therefore, I believe the Republicans in 2026 will comfortably win the House and the Senate.
I am much less confident than you are on this and believe a super majority, what would be needed to stop relying on executive orders, to be completely out of reach.

Once Trump is out in 2028, that will be the true test. Did the swamp actually get drained?
The swamp is never getting fully drained. And any progress will take a generation or more of work, especially to have any permanence.
Who're the 2028 candidates, are they actually decent?
I'm more excited for J.D. Vance than I ever was for Trump.

Any organization only not dangerous due to incompetence is an extremely precious position. I am also much less confident in their incompetence than most people on here.

CNN’s Jake Tapper wants you to know that Minneapolis shooter Robert Westman wishes to be identified as “she” and that we should use the name the shooter prefers.

To be fair I don't care about this. The pronouns of the tranny shooter aren't invalid because he's a shooter. They're invalid because he never had a chance to become a woman. He died the way he lived: male. He could have been the kindest tranny in existence and it wouldn't change that fact.

Could you imagine a democrat going outside in the middle of summer to lay in a bush for a period of 3 or more hours?

Largely agreed. I lean towards a Republican W in retaining one of the houses, another's a bit more under risk than the other, but the complete implosion of the DNC as an organization carries with it the high likelihood that they won't have much outside of the fortresses.
Any organization only not dangerous due to incompetence is an extremely precious position. I am also much less confident in their incompetence than most people on here.
Oh, it's not the only reason mind you, but it all leads to continued incompetence. Basically, the retards on the right all still have some notion of basic OPSEC. It might be because they're hyper-paranoid about small hats wiretapping their ham radio somehow, but they do in fact understand OPSEC. The retards on the left have been coddled into it so badly they don't actually comprehend how to hide their power levels anymore. So if the left somehow decided to go found militias, one of two things is overwhelmingly likely to be true.

1. KiwiFarms out feddies the feddies and finds out about it before any FBI assets need to do anything, meaning everyone knows about this by the time they do it and whatever they think they're going to accomplish backfires.

2. It'll be controlled opposition grade bullshittery and glow so badly it undermines whatever grand plan anyone had cooked up in the process.
Could you imagine a democrat going outside in the middle of summer to lay in a bush for a period of 3 or more hours?
Yes. He glowed like a MF and couldn't have more globohomo fingerprints on him if he could. That guy was the attempted assassin on Trump while he was golfing.

Agreed. I would want to meet these people on a field of battle, they would like to bomb an old folks home because they probably voted for Trump inbetween the dementia episodes.

Humanity seems strangely incapable of learning this lesson but it must be in our nature to rock the boat until it capsizes in the hope that it will be our ideology that wins the inevitable conflict.
Nah that's just the Prisoner's dilemma playing itself out. Its not that we can't learn, its that there is no other way to 'play the game' because not playing just means you lose.

The dems like their cities to be shitholes. because it allows them to form committees on these things. Then hire their friends and families. Or other grifters. Never solve the problem while getting increased salaries to try and "solve the problem".
Dems don't solve problems like crime or poverty; they domesticate them into cash crops.

It's fucking real

Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-24) reintroduced the People and Animals Well-being (PAW) Act to amend the Internal Revenue Code Section 213(d) to include veterinary care expenses under tax-advantaged health care spending accounts, specifically Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs).

The PAW Act would allow pet owners to use their HSA or FSA accounts to pay for up to $1,000 for veterinary care or a pet health insurance plan, while enabling an unlimited amount of these funds for service animals. In addition, this legislation will support individuals, including veterans, with disabilities by ensuring the IRS relies on an up-to-date definition of “service animal,” which includes animals trained to assist with both physical and mental disabilities. This bill maintains current HSA and FSA contribution limits, ensuring that there will be little to no impact on federal expenditures.

turkey's mad at israel
No, they're pretending to be mad at Israel. No actual policies changed.

What happens if Newsome does win in 2028?
JD Vance calls for a recount and gets handed the election. No, I'm serious, I don't see Newsom running, and if he does run, I don't see him winning the primary, and if he wins the primary, I don't see him winning. Now... that can change if the 47th completely blows a gasket, but I don't think the party would even want to run Newsom despite his popularity thanks to the numerous tactical blunders he's stacked up that are easily mined. Expect the unexpected on this one, I'm rooting for <<INSERT DARK HORSE HERE>> to win the 2028 DNC primary.

I didn't know what was being referenced with BDS so I looked it up, you're looking at pro-Palestinian organization to boycott and shame stores for "supporting Israel." On the face of things, no issue.

Problem. A lot of turd in the punchbowl lefties have been using pro-Palestinian organization as excuses to engage in criminal activities, one of which can very easily come down to slander and defamation in this instance. So now "BDS" takes on more than just mere statements or organized protesting, and now you make the libertarian in me want to throttle a bitch because I now need to defend state action.

A saying in my circles is, "The issue is never the issue." This has caught up completely with the left and is why most of their pleas for clemency for their advocacy fall on deaf ears to me. The issue that is being raised is almost never why anyone's going after them in the first place. In this case, no freeze peach for them, they wanted this, they asked for this to be on the table, and now they're finding out what, "Hoisted by his own petard," means.
