I'm convinced that if we flushed out every semiautomatic weapon in this country with a bonafide machine gun, the kill rate of mass shootings would go down. The government wants machine guns banned to inflate the number killed during these kinds of incidents. Because mass shooters with semiautos are forced to take careful, aimed shots.
At a bare minimum prayer helps the bystander cope with the fact they live in a cursed world where a man who chopped his own dick off murdered a bunch of children and it can help the hurt families cope because they know they're not coping alone.
