I noticed (as most should) that none of his stupid fighting game streams hit the goal unless Jax throws him $50 or so, but looking further I realized that all the times the streams were on some other day besides Friday, it is only specifically Friday that Jax comes in to save the day with his tithe. I know the easy answer, but is there literally any other reason besides severe autism which rivals Dave's schedule autism that the dent only shows up on Friday to give Dave money? LTG can't combo for shit, and Phil falls into patterns that high rank players can easily exploit. Lately NigSydePhil has been so washed up that his punish counters barely string together more than 2 moves.

Maybe Friday is Jax's day off? I know he works some shitty call center job (or did last time I paid any attention) to fund DSP's lifestyle. He's just some ultra autist who for some reason became a fan of Phil because of his fighting game history so he'd rather give him $25-$1000 for just those streams and ride the bus to work.

I still wouldn’t consider his dents victims, because they are just as divorced from base reality as him. Except maybe Jayde because it is clear his father carved out a good chunk of his brain with a broken gin bottle, thus explaining the father position he has placed Phil in.

I get the confusion that evil is a handsome german genius because of the whole holocaust myth, but in reality it is more like a Dr. Evil or drug addict bumping into walls and yelling at children.

It's scummy for sure, but plenty of streamers play the exact same game with their viewers. Lonely guys that have too much free time, disposable income, and a desire connection that they will not or cannot get through healthy avenues. If it weren't DSP, it'd be somebody else. It's the entire business model of onlyfans as far as I can tell, just with the added sexual component which makes it worse in my opinion. Some lonely autistic weirdo DMing with an Indian call center worker pretending to be the model in question, who milks them every day for "a special video just for you" or promising them a discount everybody gets because they're "her favorite customer".

My point being, if this makes you evil, it's a form of casual evil that the "victims" themselves have sought out instead of something healthy. It's evil in the same way McDonalds isn't going to cut off the fat people that gorge themselves on their food.

I don't think that's actually how his biggest dents see it, though. They seem to orient both their schedule and financial budget around "hanging out" with Phil. That's why I said it was ultimately on them and if not Phil, they'd be seeking a parasocial "friendship" elsewhere. They really don't seem to see it as watching a streamer in the way a normal person would. When Phil complains of a financial issue, they don't think "oh that sucks", they think "what can I do to help?". When they type in the chat without paying, and he doesn't read it, they ask him why he's "ignoring" them. Of course that's their own mental illness coming through and Phil just happens to be the beneficiary of it. While he's honest that they aren't actually friends, he does pretend to like them. I highly doubt DSP sees Derich begging for his attention in chat and thinks "oh wow this guy really likes me", it's probably more along the lines of "I guess I'll address him so he stops shitting up the chat".

I do agree that he's better than an onlyfans whore or something though.

No he isn't. He goes back and forth on this depending on the situation just like everything. He has said they are not his friends and he has said they are. DSP goes through life as though he is quicksaving before every conversation and he tries every single option. He doesn't seem to know that we remember/can look up everything he has said. When DSP stumbles across saying the right thing don't think anything of it. He is a completely braindead compulsive liar with no human feelings. I've cringed hard at LTG missing punishes after blocking stagger lows in Tekken. Just do anything, dude.

I have to think arrogance plays a factor. If they just did basic jab punishes, they might actually win. But they would not look like the combo videos they see on Youtube. Can't have that .
