It's so blatantly obvious the bids are all troll bids, that I'm shocked to see anybody is even taking them remotely serious.

I understand, despite it being a method of fucking with him, that the totem buyer giving him a lot of money for his shit, has sparked fears that it could happen more often but people forget this exact same thing happened when he listed the Charizard card on eBay a few months back. It got troll bid after troll bid and nothing ever came from that.

For some reason the lack of a buy it now option opens Chris up for being trolled on eBay. He's not selling the shirt, unless he puts it up for maybe 500-1000 dollars.

I think what kicked this off were people directly texting him saying they'd buy the Totem for a grand. I doubt Chris would have put it up for sale on his own. Maybe he did lurk around here and saw people taking an interest in the Totem and put 2 and 2 together to get $1500.

The Megatron pistol sale probably helped spur along the Tard Sale Saga.

What's weirder is that usually when Chris sells something, he sets it up in such a way that he barely breaks even, sometimes even owes on shipping costs when it's all said and done. Now it's completely turned around the other way.

I really wonder how much Barb is pushing things. I can't imagine he would have kept things secret that he was selling his "Junk" and that people wanted to buy it.

If anyone ever really bought the Classic (and I still have my doubts this sale is happening, but if it resold for a reasonable amount...) The smart buyer would handle that thing like a hazmat item, and get it sanitized, then cut it up into small squares, and sell those. Trading card companies do it all the time with costumes from TV shows, movies, and sports. A trustworthy (Non-CWC) seller could make bank at like $10 a square, and make lots of autists happy.

A 'reasonable amount' would be nothing. If we're bringing reason into this, you couldn't even give that shirt away. Buying things Chris made to order is one thing, but there's a reason we tell people not to buy the old junk he sells.

This shirt needs so much fabric replacement (besides a professional deep sanitation) that it will be a "replica" rather than a restoration. There is no amount of mending that can fix those holes without obvious patching, if it's cotton it's rotted away, if it's Poly blend it's rotted cotton and infested plastic. It's should be "re-stored" in its molding, dark, garbage bag and burned. (And probably a curse ye-ha-me-ha thrown on top of it.)

The same shirt is available new from stores, like others have said already. If you really want to cosplay as Classic Chris, it will be much better and cheaper to go there instead, although I'm not sure where one would find a Sonichu medallion replica. Either way, trusting Chris with your money is a bad idea and should be avoided.

The Megatron pistol was actually sold for a fair amount though ($50). Aside from some melted plastic, the gun was complete with the box. Granted it was a reissue, but I've seen that reissue go for $150 plus in good condition with all of its parts. The texts between him and the buyer also show that Chris can be an adult, which makes me think that Barb is somewhat behind all the exorbitant prices, like she was for the car and riding mower a few years ago.
