I would be surprised to see that happen. Lots of Republicans in government currently have a severe case of Trump Enslavement Syndrome. Would likely take them losing their seat and being replaced with someone with a brain for any real change to happen.
It doesn't really matter what they do, the American public is turning away from Trump and the Republicans/MAGA at a record pace, primarily due to the Epstein stuff.

What will be interesting to see is that this collapse in Republican support isn't really increasing the support of Dems, people are obviously sick and tired of the status quo.
Dems will probably get in next year (because the other main option defends pedophiles and pedophilia) and might even try and impeach Trump (if he isn't dead from eating McDonalds every day as an almost 80 year old) but I can also see the number of people not voting continuing to increase. Their priority is making sure they get elected to another term, which is why I believe many will pander to miggers during the primaries and then run to the center during the general election. Yeah the cracks in the facade have started showing these last couple of decades. The entropy continues to rise. We can’t build infrastructure anymore. If we had to recreate the entire interstate system, we couldn’t do it. We can’t even fix bridges. There was a brief period of time, from 1932 to 1980, where both sides could put aside the bullshit and agree to get the basic fundamentals of infrastructure built up.
