Does that not strike you as a bit weird to view it as baiting to go along with a bit? Like you could just make a joke as a twist to whatever joke was being thrown at you, like a lot of comedians would naturally do.
Is it humiliating to joke around with another comic and try getting some bits going between you?

with ONE PODCAST PUFF PIECE TALK SHOW EPISODE:
ALL he had to do: trade jokes, "i'm glad to be here with our comedy troupe, nice to meet you, love your work, saw you as a kid in (pick one, make vague references) we're also working on (ad), we've worked hard on it as a passion project for the fans we love, hopefully it lands with them" "thanks for having us, was a privilege to be here on your show, thank you" bonus points: minor research into harland, reverse his joe rogan skit, bring RocketMan props or something that references one of his movies, shows respect for his career and comedy and research he does himself. find out basic info about him and Tom Green and Norm etc. Fucks sake you're basically sitting in front of one of the direct uncles of your comedy style and character skits.
What this MUTHAFUCKA DID: pre show cornered harland in the most retarded way possible, when harland has a better career working with better people and has better connections, and apparently, better comedy skills, INSTANTLY deadpan "is that a jewish accent?"/the jewish question/harland tries playing it off into a scientology joke that could double as making fun of everyone and not singling anyone or at least to continue, he doesn't, harland semi jokingly restarts the show and makes multiple ques to change subject to different humor, sam doesn't get it/refuses, more deadpan no comedic ability jewish questions, continuously restarts trying to make him get it, fails, charles just zones out giggling mostly, nick is an agent with his career on the line hoping for the best then seeing his star begin to unzip his pants in the prelude to whip his dick out and there's nothing he can do, then harland tries doing the ape joke, if it was intended to be calling sam an ape, apparently sam has no counter humor, not even anything blunt like "yeah if being a monkey doesn't work out i'll just go do a shitty kids movie, hear that works great, already have a podcast",
instead he metaphorically but probably literally mentally fully whips his dick out, nick instantly knows it's over as he moves the desk, he potentially damages/ruins the desk, damages/ruins who knows how much equipment that was probably pretty high grade and setup, and beyond property damage instantly starts manhandling harland. he was clearly wanting to push him around more freely but harland was able to hold his own more than he expected leading to the little "oh you work out pretty good huh" comment, if he'd been able he'dve probably done more. as null commented he probably only really reversed when he saw nick etc and it made him snap back into damage control.
so within ONE puff piece show that was just gambling and could have led to a superbowl tier (rogan) puff piece show, he: showed he refuses to alter humor when given signals (directions), shows his staff is mostly crap besides nick, instantly goes with the anti jew content which was adult swims original reason for canning him, and has only gotten more inflammatory with MUH PALESTINE screechers and the embassy killings, shows no respect for others, higher credited stars, elders included, no respect for crew, sets, or property, tried to harm and/or intimidate harland, caused heavy property damage, inability to stick to script, calls back into questioning all of his prior alleged crimes, makes tim heidecker seem more reasonable, gives idubbz etc all the ammo they'd ever need, explains why it was so difficult to get nick back in the first place after most likely doing similar crap behind the scenes at adult swim
and all the minor notes like nick saying "we're good for it harland, we'll fix this" etc shows it was not a eric andre sketch. and most likely after shock settled and him at first considering it slapstick etc, harland probably just got multiple repair bills and a delayed show, and ought as well blacklisted them from anywhere they could go semi big time. it doesn't matter if you're pro or anti sam hyde, it doesn't matter if he was unhinged from the fishtank fiasco, he fucked up BAD, and this was probably the last straw for him/nick/charles ever doing anything besides streaming sites with, any talent or not, nobodies

Nick has always been very vocal about hating working for Adult Swim and said everyone working there is addicted to coke. I don't think he gave a shit about getting fired from them all that much, I'd actually say Nick was probably the least effected by World Peace getting cancelled. Charls is most likely the one who cared the most long term about that and even he has always been vocal about hating working for the freaks at Adult Swim. I guarantee they would all prefer the situation they have now with their own website, Where they are a good distance away from Hollywood, can do anything they want without worrying about being censored, and they absolutely get more money than working for Adult Swim, which isn't much money at all.

Just my two cents:
I think Hyde is okay. I don't consider myself a "fan" but I agree with him on a fair bit of social issues he publicly comments on. He's a voice for disenfranchised millenial/zoomer men who know they were robbed of the future that was promised to them. He does so with a thick layer of deadpan, sarcasm and self-awareness that sets him apart from typical rightwing influencer-types like Hodge Twins or a Charlie Kirk. He's in that group of guys like Negative XP (The guy who wrote "Scott Pilgrim Ruined A Whole Generation of Women") that use their bitter sense of humor to convey their unhappiness with the modern world and use it creatively and that's a good thing. I heard "Cumtown" once described as the "Trash Left", and on that scale, Hyde would be considered "Trash Right".
As a comedian, for me, he's hit and miss with mostly misses. I tried watching the premiere of Million Dollar Extreme and the skit with the actor getting trolled and leaving didn't feel right. It was just so mean spirited without any kind of payoff that the whole thing just bordered on sociopathic.
Seeing Harland Williams troll him into sperging out is a double-edged sword. On one side, it's always funny seeing the guy known for trolling get one-upped, but on the other side, this will haunt Hyde for a long, long time. He will never be able to discuss anything seriously in any public arena without a handful of bitter troons saying "remember when Harland Williams PWNED you, natzee?!" and that will instantly negate any point he's made, no matter how good because unfortunately that's just life.
In the end, no one wins here.

I think she was the girl that started filming on her phone after Sam built the gorilla nest.
Interestingly the music she chose for the post is by Vance Latte the FT contestant. That's a really deep cut of mdesphere knowledge, knowing that Vance makes music (it's good).
She also follows Sam's current insta and his old abandoned insta account. Idk exactly when but he completely abandoned it several years ago so there's no point to following it now. She also follows all the mde guys in the picture they posted, even damiel lol.

She follows Nico, a fishtank update guy, she's guaranteed a fan of Sam and Fishtank. This guy gets like 1k average views on YouTube but is good for archiving funny fishtank moments. Sam doesn't even follow him.
She's the girl that was filming with her iPhone during the podcast. I think she's one of Harland's producers or something.

This was such a clear case of guy with 40+ years of having to deal with fellow comedian dipshits and extremely competitive improv/standup up against a skit comedian who surrounds himself with yes men.
It's nearly impossible to be that witty and biting in real time without decades of practice and back and forth.
