The Guadalupe River flash-flooded, and because Central Texas has been in a draught, the ground was really dry and couldn't absorb the excess water, which meant that it kept rising. Kerrville is about an hour southwest of Austin, for reference. There were Houstonians in Kerrville when the flood hit.

Nick didn't even bother to get the facts straight, go figure.

Agreed. There are at least two deadlines for a Happening approaching. The July 15 hearing for Aaron’s restraining order, and the August 1 appointment for Nick to report to prison.
