Disaster Palm Sunday bombings in Egypt - 37+ killed, 100+ injured in attacks on Cairo and Alexandria Copts.

I wonder how people dredge up the emotions to get sad about this again and again. I mean, it is terrible, but at this point is it even newsworthy unless there's going to be a war? I wouldn't have enough hours in the day to mourn every innocent person who died at the hands of Islamic militants this year.
Depends on where the bombing is. Like if its a church or another important building. Or if it's really big. Then yes. And that's usually the case.

Otherwise, it probably shouldn't.

For most of social media, it seems that if a vicious act of terrorism didn't happen in a cosmopolitan Western city, and/or wasn't perpetrated against some Official Victim Group, it might as well not have happened at all.

They never care much about POC vs. POC violence and all they do when it happens in Europe and the US is shriek #notallmuslims and blame the oppressive white people in charge.

It's come to the point where these things don't even shock me anymore. This shit is becoming so common that it's not even unexpected, my heart goes out to the victims of this attack.

Twitter no longer has the Egypt bombing trending.

What a wonderful world...

I'm more angry with the West for willfully ignoring the tumor than I am with the tumor itself. I mean, tumors gonna tum'.

Happy Goddam Unicorn Day or whatever, assholes.

How the fuck is it impossible to just completely erase a radical religious group in 2017? How?

Because there are too many edgelords and gullible asshats to provide terror cells with warm bodies. Also these groups operate in the most cowardly way possible, i.e. suicide attacks on civilians who have done them no wrong.

Somebody put a flag overlay over my unicorn avatar on National Unicorn Day ;_;

What I'm getting at are that Egyptian ISIS members are exceptional individuals who don't even realize that they're the foreign invaders; they follow Wahhabism/Salafism, a cancerous ideology that was invented a couple hundred years ago in Saudi Arabia. Meanwhile, the Copts have had their roots in Egypt for nearly 2,000 years, long before Islam was even born.
Even if they did know that, you think they'd care? To them anyone that isn't bowing to their religion is to be murdered. No exceptions.

The West will ignore this tumor until is financially benefits to remove it. The Unicorn Day people will never care until it involves trannys or PoC's.
