I'm not really debating what glip is like as a person, or their social interactions. As I've said a few times here, I try to reserve judgement for when I have first-hand experience with someone, or for when evidence is presented that can't be easily fabricated. That's not me calling alleged victims liars, or me saying glip is a perfect angel, but me being skeptical of strangers on the internet.

Generally speaking, no. I almost always look for a link to a tweet to verify authenticity. That being said, I don't think anyone in this thread would bother to doctor any. glip's said stuff I don't agree with, but I personally haven't seen anything awful enough to make me believe they're innately awful instead of just having a bad day or something idk.

How is a page edit that fixed mistakes not valid? If that isn't something you deem good, then why not show us what is a valid criticism? It would make your presence in this thread actually worthwhile instead of shitting it up with being a white knight.

Floraverse is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 license, meaning that people can add onto Floraverse through fan work or edits of existing work. but they have to list Floraverse as the source on the page where they post. This specific license does not prohibit sales. There are other CC licenses available that have similar creation and attribution clauses and also come with a non-commercial clause.

In theory, this means that someone could edit all of the bean mouths out of the Seeds book and republish it, and they'd still be within the terms of the license as long as they attribute it to the original source.

Would adding to Floraverse automatically make that work canon? Hmmmmm...

Also, @pissyshitty you might not have the energy to jerk off but I assure you it'd be a better use of your time and you'd get roughly the same result as trying to show us what for on our own turf.

I wrote some stuff that got cut off because I don't have eyes and thus can't properly crop but the short version is that a lot of the edits didn't add anything that better helped convey emotions, and the shadows didn't make any sense with the light source in some panels, and were basically just a bunch of haphazard lines that didn't communicate volume or form.

Art is far more akin to knowing a language as opposed to riding a bike; if you don't speak the language often, your knowledge of it deteriorates and eventually you can no longer speak said language. You very clearly don't know much about art if even that basic principle is lost on you.
