Could be both, honestly. We already know Barb is a hoarder, and going by what OPL has said, she feels people want to steal from her hoard. Why, I don't know. But if she was thinking rationally, she wouldn't be a hoarder in the first place. Hell, if the Chandlers though rationally, Chris wouldn't be the person he is today.
When people describe Barb like this I imagine her as Smaug slumbering atop his piles of gold and treasure.

It's where the Chandlers live. I don't bullshit.

Fixed for emphasis.

In the door to the right of the door (facing the house)there seems to be some writing on the window... can anyone tell what it is?
I also don't recognize the cars. Anyone have references to the Chandler's cars (old and new) to reference?? I'm not saying I don't believe this is the house, the address that was leaked and this house match up on google map; I'm just saying, for the non-believers, this information would be very nice to have.

So... it was 38°11'30.9"N 78°23'12.0"W after all...

God dammit google maps, even my lonely mountain town in spain has google street view!

Now I dont think Skyraider is bullshitting us, but theres really nothing there that really says its Chris's new home. Well, aside from that big red chair.

The brown window could just as well be tinted glass.

Maybe you missed this post in another thread:

Chris unknowingly leaked his own location by posting pictures of his lego high school online.

Here is a picture from 14 Branchland Court that shows those pink / faded red chairs in their yard that we see now at the new location:

Those are definitely necessary for all the time the spend outside

No kidding. Of all the things to salvage, they decide to take old metal chairs that are exposed to the elements year round. I guess they needed a place to stick their precious no trespassing signs.

This thread is sometimes depressing, with all the mystery surrounding the fate of 14BLC.

I really hope it ultimately stays standing, even if Chris and Barb don't move back.

Houses get knocked down all the time, why do you feel bad for a house?

Pretty much all the lights in my house stay on until we're all ready to go to sleep…

But maybe thats just me and my family being ignorant and wasteful.

Your family's ignorant and wasteful.

they probably wanted too much for it then
NO HAGGLE

Chris wouldn't understand how the lottery works anyway.

You don't just get the $700,000,000 Jackpot, or what have you.

You get it in yearly installments of something like $10,000.
I don't think you understand how it works either. You can get a lower lump sum payment, or have your payout through weekly checks over 20 years.

Interestingly, many, if not most, lottery winners elect the lower lump sum payment. Then there's a large chunk of lottery winners who end up worse off then they were in the first place, with their fortunes having been squandered in bad real estate investments, super expensive cars and clothes, lavish trips, and drug and alcohol addictions.

Something tells me that if Chris were to fulfill his plans of winning the lottery that the money wouldn't last terribly long.

That… basically was what I was saying… I just have a clumsy way with words sometimes. Yearly installments, weekly installments, whichever.

Either way, its never the flat, total jackpot
