You know, after looking through hundreds of pages, especially throughout his 2016 presidency, I'm often grateful I never let politics consume me like this. Glad I always saw it as some sort of gladiator spectacle. Seeing people lash out over everything, doing the very thing they whine about the other side doing, and being worse conspiracy theorists than the ones you used to see in the 2000s/2010s schizoposting websites of some dude in his 70s screaming about the government implanting chips onto people's food to tax them more or something.
It's funny, it's interesting. The infighting, the massive hypocrisy and contradictions. It's the definition of pointing and laughing. But for me it's pointing and observing. It must be exhausting worrying this much about a single dude who's just making really mixed decisions at most that people are treating as the next successor of the Khmer Rouge. Hilarious as always.
As always, it's stuff like this that made him win the election—what gave him a drastic change of how he presented himself compared to his first term. It's the definition of not learning to shut up and just let him fade into obscurity after his term was done. But for over a decade he was nothing but almost every news station, article, reddit post, etc's punching bag. It gave him more attention. It probably peaked many. It's the bare minimum of not seeing this guy like the next Hitler for five minutes. Five. Minutes. And did they did for ten years and longer. They asked for this, and it's final.
