When you say me i hope you mean me as the jolly cat. Yes the character is a buffoon who is talentless(yet antics make ppl laugh) and a bit corny but wholesome hence part of my message "purity over normality" so in conclusion i will flesh out the character on the streets or at clubs or anywhere jolly goes and i'm sure some of what he says will be found to be corny by humans whp are limited by their carnal views and mind. To those who let go and embrace, they will love the fool and what he does and hopefully he will indeed find his sweet and bubbly jolly princessDoes this mean you'll be trying to pick up girls on the street? Or is it going to be corny scripted stuff?
So when the Jolly Cat finally finds his jolly princess will you finally get laid??When you say me i hope you mean me as the jolly cat. I'm so confused. When you say me i hope you mean me as the jolly cat. As long as he's happy, then this Jolly Vat thing is fine. It will probably not go anywhere, but he seems content right now (for the most part, he has his insane moments). If I actually saw him in New York, I think I would at least be able to tolerate his act.
Although, you gave me some credit, you left out a bit much and that is because you haven't seen a show live in person or in video where people experience laughter and joy like never before and an experience that is original and magical to them. Many big applauses, big tips, and lots of messages from ppl online about how my character made their day. Also, i am no idiot even if i play one. All the shows i have performed on were pro shows and i was on them because the booker respects my work as i am respected in the industry for making ppl laugh hard while bringing a new and different atmosphere. When i do well, comics say i am a hard act to follow. Lastly, targus mentions agt but he doesn't mentiin that i only made it to tv because i was very funny as Jolly at my audition in 2015. Once i got to la i hadn't slept days, had lots of anxiety, and had lost my voice due to dumb stuff i did leading up to LA. Plus, when i gor there i didn't compromise when a producer wanted me to have a pyschic give me a reading on camera before i performed. Who knows, maybe that is why i was set up to look like a freak before i even stepped foot on stage. That experience only made me stronger and it won't take away from what i have done as Jolly or will do. I usually ignore all this silly and false stuff said about me and my work because i know who i am and i don't need anyones approval on here. God knows the great entertainment and message i bring and so do my fans all around nyc and beyond. My only point is that if you are going to say something, maybe try to get the facts straight and correctly. And also Big Jay Oakerson is a fan of my work and he and his friends come to many of my shows. Be well^
Very true, I haven't thought about like that.Guess I can't rule out that his naiviette may cause him to perform in some bad places (or get tricked into doing a pay to play show, which I wouldn't be surprised if he has done already).
All i will say is the laughter i bring is pure and genuine and most are envious of what i do so they try to knock it because they only wish they can do what i do. I have passion and i praise God for the gift to bring joy and make a difference rather than just go through the motions. You keep saying naivete. How is my character that when in realiy it brings entertainment and a message? You think ppl would try this hard to make me look bad if i wasn't doing something good? Trust me, God knows^
You're right. I've never seen your act live (which is odd considering how often I've been to New York, but seeing as I mainly visit the Manhattan area, that might explain it), however, as a performer myself, I know that clubs and booking agencies will exploit desperation or naivete, so I can't ruke that out.
All I can say, Vinny, is that you seem like you have a lot of passion for your work, and for that, I commend you.

A much better comparison to the Jolly Cat is Kentray Brown, except instead of talking about WWE all the time, the Jolly Cat talks about God's will. They both have the "women today are evil whores" thing, both don't work, both never get laid but expect a "pure" woman to come along someday to be their perfect bride (or Jolly Princess, in Vinny's case), both live off the charity of others, both think they're much better than they are. I don't think Jolly Cat or Kent are truly threats though while Cilley is so delusional he can't function in society.Just finished reading this thread, and I'd really love at some point to see a Jolly Cat / Dan Cilley crossover.
The best part is a woman pays for everything in Vinny's case.A much better comparison to the Jolly Cat is Kentray Brown, except instead of talking about WWE all the time, the Jolly Cat talks about God's will. Yeah, it's funny how so many of these "women should be barefoot and pregnant like in the Bible" types are 40-year-olds being supported by women. The best part is a woman pays for everything in Vinny's case.
The songs are "catchy" because they're so repetitive. In that big YouTube argument he was in, people pointed out that every character and song he does is one line repeated over and over. I know he claims that the characters are supposed to be simple, but how are they clever, interesting, or funny? What would make them go viral?^
Yep. To me, he's kind of like a Brooklyn Chris-Chan, except with a lot more freedom and, from the looks of it in ceratain videos, social skills as well. He has rather high goals that I'm not sure he'll achieve with his current act. At the very least, he should change it up once in a while.
Funny thing is that I'm kinda surprised he hasn't gone viral. His songs that he performs are kinda catchy (currently have his two most famous ones stuck in my head), so I'm surprised that he hasn't achieved some sort of viral internet success. Maybe his stuff started being uploaded too late for his stuff to "catch on?" I dunno, but I do know one thing: He would be much more successful if he focused on his ministry and not just having it as an add-on to his Jolly Cat act (he may claim his whole thing is his ministry, however).
